I mentioned last week that I would be taking everyone up on their suggestions by posting the topics that my readers suggested or requested me to post about for the big 1000 post celebration. Karley Fox the blogger behind FMS SEO suggested that I wrote a post reflecting back on the first 1000 posts here on my blog for my actual 1000th post, I really liked the idea of taking a walk down memory lane, so here goes.

Oh yeah, wait before I get going don’t forget to check out Karl’s blog FMS SEO internet marketing and seo blog.

1 to 1000 Blog Posts in a Snapshot

1. What Now

Probably a question many new bloggers or newbie bloggers ask them self when their blog is actually ready.

100. Give Your Job Away?

I can remember writing this post as if it were yesterday, I couldn’t be more happy that it was as long ago as it was.

200. Insane Limos First Limousine

I should have noted the dates that each post was written when I started, either way I’ll add that now. This post was written on September 30, 2008.

Pink Hummer Limo

500. Disgusting News

This was written on June 15, 2009 which is less then a year ago for those of you that might be a little math challenged, that would mean I wrote over 500 posts in about 9 months.

750. 3 Phase Employee Counseling Process

Written on November 23, 2009 it’s my shot at helping new small business owners or expanding business owners set up a counseling process that makes sense for the associate as well as the business owner.

1000. Celebrating 1000 Posts

The name pretty much says it all, all though my 1000th post will really consist of about 25 different post topics thanks to all of your suggestions in my, “What Should My 1000th Post Be?” post.

If I had a little more time on my hands I would have really liked to dig a little bit more into the posts between 100-500, there has to be some pretty big disasters in there. If I get a chance in the future I’ll rewind and spend some time going through them so we can all have an extra laugh at my expense ;) haha.

Have a great day and thanks again Karl.

Hey John, how cool John, for the mention and the walk down memory lane. I’m totally with you in your post ‘Disgusting News’ about trying to not watch the news because it brings you down, some days it can really put the dampers on things.

Karley Fox isn’t a bad ‘nick’ name… I may have to use that! :)

Warmest regards,

Karl

Man 1000 posts. Now that is pretty good John. I’ve only hit the 282 mark, but I have passed the 10300 mark as far as comments go. Still I have some work ahead of me to catch up to you. You reckon you could stop for 6 months or so, so I can catch up? :wink:

Hey John. Congratulations on your 1000th post, that’s mighty impressive! :-D

I’m still looking forward to the day that I reach 250 blog posts, but I guess it should be sometime “soon”. :-)

@Karen @ Blazing Minds, I counted them and hated every single minute of it. Initially it was going to be every 100th post, that grew old quickly.

1000 posts seems so far away right now. I’ll get there some day. Keep up the random posting though since that’s what brings me back. Some business tips here, a couple rants here and a few pics over there. Good diversity going on.

@Anthony @ Bounce House Rental,

I agree Anthony, there is a lot of good variety to the post topics here. This is a lot different than many blogs and you never know what to expect.

Interesting progress and fast too. :lol:

Not sure about that motor, did you get a step ladder with that?! 8-O

!000 post, seems a good goal for any blogger to shoot for, it also gives them enough time to see if they really are cut out for blogging. :wink:

@rob sellen@internet marketing,

I think by the time a blogger reached his 100th post he’s already cut for it :)

@ZXT, Probably right there :lol:

The more the better though, the data it can give you about your readers is pretty eye opneing.
