It’s been about a year now since I first heard of Twitter over at John Sullivans blog Pot Politics, I remember seeing the weird looking little bird on his site and watched him mention it in post after post before I actually clicked on the Twitter bird to see what it was. I now have over 10,000 tweets on Twitter and have been posting twitter information, twitter tips, twitter tools, twitter tools for Blackberry and just about everything else twitter related. My interaction and networking with others on Twitter has had a lot to do with the growth and success of my blog through 2009, the micro-blogging platform makes sharing and retweeting blog posts very easy which makes it easy for bloggers to generate more traffic to their articles.
As I finished up my “Best of 2009″ posts I realized just how much I had written about Twitter and twitter tools in the past year, there really are some decent twitter tips for business and bloggers that I should share. I hope you find something useful in my list of 10 best twitter articles of 2009, enjoy.

There is so much to learn. I guess you must combine all the bloging, tweeting and facebook to make your blog stand out and get a following.
EJ some of these pics in the random section are amazing.
@safaridave, think of it as a pie. ;)
John,
I was just like you at first. I thought that Twitter was a little strange. But I read a few articles and started following the right people and now I’m a Twitter addict. I find myself writing about it all of the time and all of the most popular posts on my blog are related to Twitter.
Although tweeting and driving is something I’ve never tried. lol
I enjoy getting your tweets and I’m sure to retweet you on this post.
Thanks for this links. I’ll check them out.

I have to admit, I only started to properly use twitter a few weeks ago. I just didn’t get it before but now it’s by far my favourite social networking site. It goes hand in hand with my insomnia, twittering away at 4am to my buddies accross the pond in the US via my google G1 phone.

HI John Thanks for sharing your ideas. i always use tools to unfollow those twitter friends who’s not following me.
I keep thinking that I need to start using twitter for our business and then start having doubts on how it would be beneficial for us and our real estate business. I just don’t see it being worth the extra time for us. Maybe I’m not thinking creatively enough.
I can definitely see how you use it for your businesses, but not feelin it for the real estate world.
@electric heating uk, good points and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.
