A couple of months ago I decided to open Extreme John for guest posting or better yet to accept guests posts from my daily readers as well as other bloggers that stop by my blog for blogging tips and business blogging tips. It didn’t take long before my first guest post came in from Mike at a Daily Shot of Coffee who wrote “How to Get Free Products to Review on Your Blog“, and since then I have received a few killer guest posts from Dragon Blogger and Karen from Blazing Minds. Not to mention one that I thought was really cool by Dave Doolin from Website in a Weekend, he wrote a guest post titled “Straight Dudes Guide to Partying in Pink Hummer“.
Now even with getting some killer guest post submissions I still have a list of a few bloggers I would like to see write a guest post here on my blog, this blog is a Google Page Rank 3 with a solid Alexa rank of 25k or better. I can’t really say that any of these bloggers will take the time to write a guest post here, but I am a firm believer in asking for the things you want in life, if you don’t ask you will never know. I guess this can serve as my way of asking, either way here’s a list of a few bloggers I would like to see guest posts from.
Bloggers I Want to See Guest Post on Extreme John
1. John Sullivan – Pot Politics
Any of you that have been by my blog on more than one occasion have certainly seen me write about my boy big John from Pot Politics, he has a lot to do with why I even began to write about half the things I write about here. The writing style is one of a kind and the creative SEO tips and blogging tips that John puts together are awesome, now he just needs to do one here
2. Kristi – Kikolani
There probably isn’t a newbie blogger or pro blogger that exists that hasn’t seen Kristi’s work yet, her articles on Kikolani are always packed with relevant information that will actually make a difference. There isn’t a single article that Kristi has written in the last year that didn’t teach me something, I would love to see Kristi do a guest post here on anything from business blogging tips to social media tips. Beggars can’t be choosers, I would be happy with anything that Kristi would write.
3. Nicholas Cardot – Site Sketch
Nick exploded on the seen and his blog Site Sketch 101 just continues to grow, he puts together hearty articles that teach more than enough in every sitting. Based on the various blogging tips and social media tips that Nick has posted since I have been reading his blog I would be honored to have Nick shed some of his killer post layout and writing skills here.
4. George Serradinho – Serradinho
I am a long time subscriber of George’s blog Serradinho, reading George’s blog is what helped me make the decision to switch over to the Thesis Theme, he writes some excellent tutorials on how to customize Thesis that really helped me here when I finally did make the switch. It would be great if George would share a few simple Thesis theme customizing tips here for everyone using Thesis theme to check out, it would be even better if it wasn’t a tutorial that George has already written.
5. Alex – Blogussion
I would really like to see Alex from Blogussion write a guest post about customizing Thesis theme, it can really be any Thesis theme tutorial and I would be more than happy about it. I’ve learned a lot from Alexa’s blog over the last couple of months, his customization tips are always put together in a simple easy to way that makes it simple for a circus monkey like me to figure out.
6. Mohit Aneja – CSS Jockey
Who ever would have thought that I would want to have someone that knows CSS do a guest post here? I guess if you asked me three years ago I probably never even would have considered it, ever since switching to the Thesis theme I find myself playing with CSS a lot more. I really don’t know enough about it to even hold a conversation, so any guest post that Mohit from CSS Jockey might be able to put together here would be a huge help. Especially for someone like me that needs all of the basic CSS tips that I can get.
7. Maggy McGary – Social Media Today
Social Media Today is one of my favorite blogs on the internet, it’s perfect for small business owners to find the latest and greatest information on social networking tools for business and social media information. Maggy McGary is just one of the many talented writers at Social Media Today, I would certainly be more than flattered with a guest post from anyone that write at Social Media Today, but I always look forward to Maggy’s articles. Maggy does a great job of playing devils advocate and looking at things from a different point of view, especially when it comes to marketing your business with social networking sites.
8. Harsh Agrawal – Shout Me Loud
When it comes to consistency in blogging and covering every avenue of blogging Harsh does a killer job on Shout Me Loud, I would really like to see a guest post from Harsh about what he feels are the 5 best tools for new bloggers or maybe even a few search engine optimization tips.
9. Jordan Cooper – Not a Pro Blog
I only recently started subscribing to Jordan’s RSS feed for Not a Pro Blog and based on his energy and some of the creative topics that Jordan writes and does videos about I would like to see him do a guest video post here on my blog. Jordan has killer energy and since he’s a comedian he can keep you smiling along the way, who knows maybe some day You will see a Jordan Cooper guest post here.
10. You
Yes, you. Take a few seconds to register here, it doesn’t take very long and before you know it you can be letting off a little steam writing a guest post about a crappy experience you had with a retailer or maybe you want to write about a great experience. I have something like nine various topics that I accept guest posts for here on Extreme John.com, take a look at my list of acceptable guest posting topics and see if there might be something you can guest post about. This blog is a Do Follow, Google PR3 blog with a current Alexa rank of 25,106.
P.s. I don’t want anyone to think that I forgot any guest posts that they might have submitted, The InfoPreneur and Smart Bloggerz also submitted killer guest posts here on Extreme John.com. Check out The InfoPreneur’s guest post, “How Much Money Can You Really Make” and Smart Bloggerz guest post, “Do’s and Dont’s to Remember in Business Blogging“.
P.s. If your not convinced about doing a guest post here please read 10 Reasons You Should Guest Post Here, it might motivate you to do one.

I have not heard of all these bloggers and don’t follow many blogging blogs anymore but….. As you recommended them I should go chekc them all out
.
As for a guest post…. I wouldn’t know what to write about for you. My main focus right now is Frugality so if that could fit into Extreme John somehow I could try and submit something…. I do run my own online business so maybe I could conjure up something.
Forest´s last blog ..How To Avoid Going To The Supermarket
@Forest, I think a Frugality post that might help anyone in a tough economy would be greatly appreciated by my daily readers, why not consider that?
@Extreme John, Thanks John…. I’ll try and think up a title and send you an email in the next few days.
Forest´s last blog ..The Original Frugal Zeitgeist
I’ve heard of several of those bloggers John and I agree they will all make excellent guest posts. I would offer you my services mate but it’s all I can do to keep my own blogs up to date.
You know I’ll be back and that’s it’s not all about the girls, although they do keep things interesting.

Sire´s last blog ..Quick Update On People Search Money Opportunity
@Sire, the girls are a once a week thing at best, a nice tension breaker. I appreciate it Sire thank you.
@Extreme John, Lucky it’s only once a week John, I don’t think the old ticker could handle more than that.
Sire´s last blog ..How The People Search Craze Could Put Money In Your Pocket
@Sire, that and the fact that so many others despise it haha.
Thanks for introducing me to some cool new bloggers! And thanks for mentioning me at number 10

Anne @ b6s.net´s last blog ..Eight Reasons Why You Need to Start Buzzing
@Anne @ b6s.net, my pleasure ;) Feel free to submit a guest post, the reality is that I could have probably made this list about 100 bloggers strong.
Wow very cool thanks. I have never wrote a quest post not because I’m all that in fact the opposite, because I OFTEN write whacky stuff that doesn’t make much sense and always admired people that can take the time to write some powerful post that have clarity. In life/blogging if we want to succeed we must takes risks. I will do one TODAY and have it in your box in 24 hrs.
PS The weird thing is in college I wrote many papers that got A’s and recently said to myself. SELF why don’t I just do each post like a mini term paper ? But on my blog I’m not writing to the person I’m talking to/with them so this will be a good way to break up the blogger slang etc. Thanks so much for hitting me up and thinking of me.
John Sullivan´s last blog ..Let’s look at the Blogger Illustrated
@John Sullivan, all I know is the one you sent over today is bad ass, Dawn got tied up doing some fixes and print work today, will get the image done for it tomorrow and posted
Thanks for the submission man I really appreciate it.
Kristi is a great woman and a great blogger. Hopefully one day she’ll be one of your guest poster

Michael Aulia @CravingTech´s last blog ..OGAEXEC.exe error upon Windows restart?
@Michael Aulia @CravingTech, I hope so, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.
It will be a nice sight to see Alex of Blogussion, Serradinho and Harsh Agarwal to post here. I am also planning to write guest post about my blogging experience here. I am not that good at writing but I hope, it is decent enough.
@Rohit@White Color, I look forward to it as well, one can hope as for your guest post, keep me posted I look forward to that as well.
Although i have only heard of and read pot politics i am really looking forward to checking out the other blogs on your list. Thanks!
Alan´s last blog ..Why you will Love your Bushnell Yardage Pro XGC Golf GPS
@Alan, my pleasure Alan. I think you will find some good stuff in that list.
You crack me up with #10! BTW, did you ever get my email through your contact form…….I wanted to know if you would like to do a guest post on my blog. I am trying to do them at least once a month and I have Gabe in queue and I think Dave too…..and since you guys are all pals and you write some good tips I’d love to have you some time.
I also agree on #2 – Kristi – she does always have some great stuff, she is also on my regular reading list!
PS – I’m totally going to check out your list of 9 subjects and see if I fall under any of them.
Michelle Mangen´s last blog ..Are you a closer?
@Michelle Mangen, oh oh…
I’ll do something on productivity for you Michelle.
I need to get a spreadsheet together or something.
Dave Doolin´s last blog ..10 Ways to Link to Comments – Keep the discussion rolling!
@Dave Doolin, Dave – OK you are on it! Would love one on productivity, especially from you as I am in constant amazement of how you get things done!
Michelle Mangen´s last blog ..Using Local Business Profiles to Promote Your Business
@Dave Doolin, you rock Dave. Don’t forget the draft you have here
@Michelle Mangen, I’m sure you can find something in the list of 9 things to guest post about here on EJ, I would appreciate it that’s for sure
No I never received your email, not sure what email address that contact form goes to. Honestly forgot I even had one
Do you have my current email?
I think I would like these people to guest post, but the problem is that they don’t need to post on a blog which gets one tenth of the traffic they get
gautam hans´s last blog ..Reasons why Google Wave Failed
@gautam hans, Sometimes it’s more than the traffic, but the connections you can make from posting onto a new community.
Alex Fraiser´s last blog ..The 6 Pillars of a Seemingly Successful Blog
@Alex Fraiser, Alex, I agree, sometimes website may have a lot of traffic but no or very little engagement.
But i think bloggers which are more successful (in terms of influence) would not like to gues post on a blog which has little influence. Because that is just a waste of their time.
gautam hans´s last blog ..Reasons why Google Wave Failed
Hey John, This is a great round-up. I’m familiar with most of these bloggers and for the ones I know I’m sure that Kristie, Nicholas and Jordan will be here soon.
It will be very interesting and of course if Jordan shows up I know it will be a blast.
Thanks for inviting me too.

@Ileane
ileane @Blogging´s last blog ..Plugin to WordPress at Blogging Wire!
@ileane @Blogging, you have been invited forever, submit one
Haha, I have never seen anything like this John. I really need to start getting my ass into guest posting gear, so I will add your blog to the top of my newly started “people I need to guest post for” list. Sound good?
Ask and you shall receive my friend.
Alex Fraiser´s last blog ..The 6 Pillars of a Seemingly Successful Blog
@Alex Fraiser, wow I have to say Alex I really never expected that you would stop by, never mind comment and I certainly never thought you would even seriously consider it. I guess all I can say is “Wow.”
Even if you never guest post it was cool enough of you to stop by, I read your blog constantly and it’s been a tremendous influence on the customizations here (NOTHING LIKE YOURS), just beginner stuff but a lot of it learned thanks to your killer posts.
Hi John, I believe this is the first time for me to comment on your blog although I’ve been a regular lurker the past few months. :D
Great post you got here! I’m also planning of opening up my blog for guest posting and this post of yours is a great inspiration. I already know some of the blogs/bloggers you mentioned and I too would love to have the likes of Kristi, Alex, Mohit and Harsh to guest post on my blog. But like what gautam mentioned in his comment, they might not even consider it if the blog is not as influential or doesn’t have as much readers as they do. But then again, this seems to be successful because you already have Alex promising a guest post here on your blog.
Maybe I should come up with a blog post like this and hope that someone like Alex would also accept the offer. Hehe
I’m sure you won’t have any problems finding guest bloggers but anyways, I wish you all the best and more power!
Jaypee´s last blog ..Toshiba Satellite A505-S6005
@Jaypee, Guatum has a very valid point and it will be within that bloggers eyes. Me personally I wouldn’t care what size my blog is, if someone asked me to guest post I would. It’s just the way I am, and the impact I might have to one person on that one blog that I guest posted on and someone actually read might be the one person that needed t be impacted.
Every blogger thinks differently as proven by Alex being nice enough to come through and leave a comment, sure Kristi’s site might be 20x the size of mine and the influence is much greater than my site might be. In the end, if Kristi enjoys guest posting she just might do it, or on the flip side of things she might hate the idea. It wouldn’t matter to me either way, these are just the people I would like to see guest post here, I look up to each one of them for a reason. Regardless if they actually guest post here or not.
I have to say thank you for taking the time to leave a lengthy comment and share your thoughts, everything I hear about guest posting is great for some reason I just can’t get myself to write anything I think would be useful on someone else’s blog s I don’t do them. Others have had great success accepting and also contributing to guest posts on various blogs, if you put your mind to it you will see the same success they have seen.
I JUST made a comment yesterday about making a comment post, but couldn’t find out how. I swear the “secret” works. Not sure if you know what that is or not.
@Jumpness, I think you lost me here.
I have another one in draft: “How to Party Like Extreme John (It’s not what you’re thinking)”
It may sit there a while longer. I can finish it 10 minutes… provided it’s an inspired 10 minutes. Not feeling super inspired at the moment.
Dave Doolin´s last blog ..10 Ways to Link to Comments – Keep the discussion rolling!
@Dave Doolin, I give you a lot of credit for even starting the process. I want to guest post so bad but every time I go to do one the only thing I can think of writing is 10 Reasons I Don’t Guest Post…. I have issues.
@Extreme John, seriously, you don’t owe me anything. I don’t roll like that. I pay it forward and forget about it.
I’m about to start coding again. Once that happens, you’ll see me posting articles, but you won’t see me anywhere else. Coding is a different mindset. Coding and commenting don’t mix.
Yeah, it’s going to “ruin” my traffic, but I’ve got bigger fish to fry. And I’ll be back anyway.
Dave Doolin @ Website In A Weekend´s last blog ..Distributed Denial of Service Attack is Over – Back in the saddle
Dude, when you start ranting about stuff, I often think you should do a Guest Post on my blog. Seriously, when you get fired up, it’s awesome. And I’ll have to check out your Guest Post criteria. Maybe I could come up with something that would be a fit.
I like when you refer blogs too. Your suggestion is good enough for me. I’ve visited Pot Politics before too.
The Constant Complainer´s last blog ..Kids Having Kids
Those are great blogs and it will surely boost your blog and their blog if they do a guest post here. I hope they do.
ZXT´s last blog ..My Bohol Trip part 2
It has been a long time since I visited your blog. Good to see you are growing day by day. It is a fantasy of every blogger to have such an honor.
Ricky ´s last blog ..Download Winutilities Pro Software Free License Key Giveaway
Saved your ass with #10 there didn’t-cha. ;)
Dennis Edell´s last blog ..Theme Construction Part 2 – What Should Go WITHIN The Blog? This Is The FUN Part!
@Dennis Edell, #10 was actually #1 I just saved it for everyone that was going to be pissed if I didn’t list them. Fact is any guest post here helps me out in a big way, I’m in my busy season my already long 18hr days don’t have much room for stretching so getting a guest post here and there makes a world of difference for being able to use my time to leave more comment and read all of your blogs.
So yup sure did.
Hi John,
I hope u get this as it’s via my Blackberry.
I will be glad to do a guest post, but it will take time to come up with a grand title and post as you set such high standards.
It has been long overdue, but my projects are taking a toll. The money is good, but I miss my browsing time and your slut posts, lol ;)
@George Serradinho, sounds great George, I look forward to it.
@Extreme John,
I will let you know when I have something for you. Just thinking of something great and of your standards.
George Serradinho´s last blog ..eBook – A New You Year
Nice choice of blogs, I visit at least two of those up there daily or weekly and I always see quality posts. BTW if you ever want to guest post on my blog that would totally be cool with me
I’d love to do a guest post here! Thanks for including me on your list… I have a lot of writing to do… I still haven’t forgotten your post where you mentioned being able to do a ton of articles all at once. I wish I could write like that!

Kikolani@Blogging´s last blog ..Fetching Friday – Resources Mashup & Mean Kitty
Great ideas and excellent list of potential guest bloggers. You might want to clarify what you meant when you wrote “register here” and link to where you want them to do it….unless that is a secret way to weed out bloggers who can’t figure it out for themselves.

Gail @ Business Blogging´s last blog ..MEME: BizLuv in Support of Small Businesses
If all the bloggers in your wanted list submit 10 posts each month, you can retire for good!
Thanks for the mention, John! You’re one of our favorite readers!
@Josh at Social Media Today, hey Josh thank you for taking the time to stop by and check out the blog. I honestly didn’t think with a blog the size of Social Media Today that you would have come by or even knew I existed. Haha.
Thank you, without a doubt a forever dedicated daily reader.
Good list, now all you have to do is actually attract these people towards. Lol, anyway, i laugh at the fact that the hit counter at the bottom of your blog says 0 visitors since
12/1/2007. Good Joke John.
Who were your parents?
Hello I just desired to let a person understand, We really such as the composition on your own site. But I am employing Firefox on the machine running version ten associated with Crashbang Ubuntu and the actual Ui aren’t quite right. truly a big deal, I still basically read the articles and investigation for info, but just wanted to inform a person regarding this. The navigation bar is kind of challenging to apply with the config I am running. upward the superb work!
