The last time I posted a blog milestone it was back on September 8, 2009 when I posted that my blog had reached 5,000 comments, pretty good stuff since I really never even tried interacting with anyone here until about a year ago. Once I started getting comments I couldn’t help but interact back with the people that were nice enough to leave a comment, since that time my comments have grown very quickly.
Anyway, the real bottom line with blog comments is that they come from you the contributors, without excellent contributors here on Extreme John and the discussions that all of you get involved in there would really be nothing to talk about. I put together a list of the top contributors here on Extreme John.com for all of 2009, take a moment to visit some of the bloggers below and THANK YOU for taking the time to leave a comment here, I greatly appreciate it.

1. Sire – 149 comments
Sire is the creative blogger that handles business over on WassupBlog. Sire is a U Comment I Follow blogger with a Do Follow blog, he appreciates comments and generates a tremendous amount of them. Check out one of Sire’s recent posts, Comment The Life Blog of a Blog.
2. ZXT – 149 comments
“Z” has managed to contribute in a big way in a very short time here on EJ, his aggressive commenting nature can also be seen in his blogging efforts, ZXT is the blogger that operates Nothing But Random. Nothing But Random is as advertised, it’s random and certainly worth checking out the Sunday Babe of the Week.
3. Doug Dillard – 136 comments
It’s really amazing that Doug still sits in the top 3 contributors here on EJ since Doug has been on a short vacation. When Doug gets back he will be updating Making Money Online with new posts about ways to make money online, in addition to posts about making some cash Doug also writes posts about blogging, check out his Ultimate Footer Ad.
4. The Constant Complainer – 135 comments
By far one of the coolest bloggers running one of the coolest blogs around, The Constant Complainer is a blog that delivers complaints like no other, if you doubt me check out What a Strange World.
5. Mike – 129 comments
Mike is one of the web’s prominent coffee bloggers, you can read his daily coffee reviews and breaking coffee world news on Daily Shot of Coffee. With the holiday shopping season in full effect you might want to check out Mike’s Coffee Machines and Makers Holiday Gift Guide 2009.
6. Keith – 119 comments
Kieth is a constant contributor here on my blog and has racked up a nice comment count in a pretty short period of time, check out Kieth’s site Best Norman Rockwell Art.
7. Hard Rocking South African – 116 comments
In addition to being a constant contributor here on EJ the Hard Rocking South African also runs a killer blog design for his Music Judge premier music testing website, check out Google News on Music on the the judge’s latest blog posts.
8. Karen – 115 comments
Blazing Minds is one of the webs fastest growing sites for blogging tips, seo tips and even includes articles that support local bands and artists. Stop by Karen’s site and leave a comment on her most recent post, Weekly Roundup Blog Engage, iTunes and Google Wave.
9. Lee Ka Hoong – 115 comments

I believe this is my first comment on your blog but just wanted to congratulate you on such an awesome achievement!
Does this include spam comments?(though I notice your image says you only have 2 spam comments – how do you get such low spam comments?)
At any rate it’s still amazing to think you’ve gotten 5000 comments in less than 3 months. That’s like 50 comments a day! Outstanding. Would love to reach that level of comments for my blog(s) in future. I’ve got a looong way to go though.

As for the spam comments, I literally just finished going through about 700 spam comments right before I wrote this post. Trust me when I tell you, I get plenty of spam messages in my spam folder hourly. haha.

Wow Congratulation for having 10000 blog comments. I am not wondering, your blog currently on 27,984 Alexa ranking, you should have huge amount of visitors. Also you implement do-Follow plugin that make people want to put a comment. However, you should get a lot of spam comment, do you?
