As most of you know that visit my blog on a daily basis I am a firm believer in sharing the link love and following good practices that attempt to reward my readers and show my appreciation for everyone that takes time to leave comments here. I recently explained how to make your blog a Do Follow Blog like Extreme John.com, this basically means every time you leave a comment here you get full link juice from my site.
One of the common practices I try to follow here on my blog is to support the bloggers and new bloggers that come through here looking for newbie blog tips and other somewhat useful information, I do this by visiting the blogs of the people that comment here and return the favor. I know you have heard of the concept before, it’s pretty simple… if you leave a comment here on my blog I will visit your blog and leave a comment on one of your articles that interests me.
This concept has been going on for a long time in blogging and some bloggers have even lied about being “U Comment, I Follow” blogs in order to build up their comments from other bloggers, meanwhile never leaving comments on other bloggers blogs. I don’t remember where I was the first time I saw the U Comment, I Follow button but do remember liking the idea, I did of course leave a comment on that blog. The blog owner returned the favor and left a comment here on my blog, the system seems easy enough and works.
I wanted to remind everyone that Extreme John is a U Comment I Follow blog and I wanted to give you some free hosted images to display on your blog or on your blog pages in order to let other bloggers know that you are a U Comment I Follow Blogger. You can either save the free graphics below to your hard drive or hot link them right off my site by copying the image location and putting it in your own blog.
One of the issues I had when I decided I wanted to be a U Comment I Follow blogger was finding images to use on my blog to display to everyone that I was in fact a U Comment I Follow business and personal blogger. I decided to have Dawn take a minute and put together a few Free U Comment I follow images and buttons so that I could rotate them out on my site, after seeing the buttons I decided to just post them here so everyone can have them.
The free graphics below are three different size, 250 x 250, 125 x 125, and 103 x 50.

@Body Parts, congrats and thank you for the kind words, of course thank you for commenting. P.s. Take advantage of the Keyword Luv plugin (this site uses it), instead of using an impersonal name as your commenting name, use your real name (adds identity) as follows:
YourName @Body Parts
Doing so will link your keyword to your website instead of it currently No Following the username as it is currently “Body Parts”.

i am a fan of the first image, the teal color isnt as bold and blends in easier with my themes. i like do follow and have added it to a few sites and really like the results so far.

I landed on this page after a search and read your interesting article where you complain about people claiming something yet not following through their claims in (UComment I follow), then you mentioned that “every time you leave a comment here you get full link juice from my site”
Of course you said it above, YET, all links to external sites are nofollowed what gives and WHY you call others dishonest and then turn around and do the same which makes it worse…

First off, use a real name when you leave comments. People will take you more serious. Next check the date on the post. When this post was written I was dumb enough to give full link juice to any comment that was left. With the 80 billion ass bombs that leave comments just for the sake of DoFollow juice I installed a new plugin (which has been written about on here numerous times) explaining that your going to need at least 3 relevant comments that follow the commenting rules of this blog before you get link juice. Why? Nothing major, just don’t feel like having all of the little Do Follow leaches that ONLY comment on Do Follow blogs for Do Follow link juice…. Based on your comment I am willing to bet you might fit that mold.
You want the link juice, stick around and become and active part of the community. If you don’t want to be an active part of the community then you won’t be receiving link juice. Not to mention without using a real name when you comment chances are you will never get link juice.
It’s funny to me that people worry about the juice yet they can’t figure out how to take advantage of the excellent tools on here that will help them out… In your case your so worried about Link Juice yet you dont take advantage of the Kyeword Luv plugin that’s on this blog. Funny I even wasted my time responding to this… Shaming you for being a leach.
As I said before, I landed here while looking for a web page, I have no interest in your site nor would I have the time or the desire to be a regular member. All that a side, what did I expect leaving such a comment, NOTHING. I was reading through your article (which is interesting) until I saw your boastful claim of allowing do follow comments. I would not have even commented if that was true, I have zero interest in running around leaving comments purely for link juice or anything else. I have no patience for that. I am a web developer and I have a Firefox extension that is always on which highlights all nofollow links. So when I read your claim and noticed that you were lying I had to write. I simply could not move on (which is what I would have done after reading it) without leaving a comment calling you out. Here is what honest people do.
If they have such claims before and they change their minds, the respectable ones go back and add a note/addendum to the previous articles quickly explaining why things have changed.
You may think I am running around looking for links, and that’s your right to think it, but the reality is the opposite, I merely can not stand dishonesty and sadly the internet is infested with it.
Simply add a note above for people like myself who can not stand lies.

Pretty funny that someone that couldn’t care less about Do Follow or Do Follow Backlinks keeps a Firefox Add-on running that shows him those link types…. Yeah because thats important information for a web developer. Bottom line if you didn’t care about it, you wouldn’t have commented on it and you probably wouldn’t have “landed here” either. In trying to expose a “liar” aand call someone esle out, you managed to call yourself out and expose the fact that your a jackass while doing it.
As for your little “note” that you want. Here’s a word of advice before I give you the note that you feel your entitled to… If your Mr. DoGood, do some real good and open your own Do Follow blog and be the big Do Follow hero for all of the other “web developers” that cruise the web with Do Follow/No Follow add-ons and cry about Do Follow changes, even though they really don’t care about Do Follow. Haha. Classic.

I Yet to see a disclaimer above explaining that you have chickened out and changed your boastful claims. So you my friend are still a lair. A decent upstanding individual would have already added a disclaimer to the above article. DO NOT assume people who land directly on this page know you or know your history or what you have said or done before. The 3 comment rule is for dumb ass’s like the dumb ass that I am writing this disclaimer for, of course I would tell you the dildo lickers name but he doesn’t have the class or balls to use a real name when he comments. Dear Extreme, Not only do your businesses sound interesting, this new concept of “U Comment I Follow” is such a natural flow. I feel that some people may try to take advantage of the U Comment I Follow interaction, however … since the universe tends to even things out, I’m not going to worry about it. I’m happy to participate in this and follow links, talk to people and see what comes of it. I am hoping to learn how to do this and I thank you for sharing your info.

I noticed you wrote this article a while ago. I’m sure it’s helped you get a lot more comments on your blog but have you seen more traffic and revenue because of it and do you find yourself having to moderate a lot more comments?
