Buffer Pin It Post image for 300 Facebook Fan Page Fans. THANK YOU!

Back on February 13th the Extreme John Facebook Fan Page reached 200 Facebook Fan Page fans, I posted “200 Facebook Fans – Thank You!” to celebrate the big, crazy and wild milestone. I really don’t do anything that exciting on my Facebook Fan page, for the most part I have two different communities between the fan page and my blog, if you want you can call Twitter the third.

Different people interact with me differently through the various social networks I belong to, very rarely will someone that interacts with me on my fan page take the time to leave a comment here on my blog. The same can be said for those of you that follow me on Twitter @extremejohn and read the blog, your more likely connect with me on Twitter and discuss things then to leave it here on my blog and wait for my response.

300 Facebook Fan Page Fans

Now before I get out of here without really closing this out and having a point besides saying, “Thank you” I want to show you an example of why I feel you should be involved in multiple communities, especially if you have a small business blog. As you can see in the example below a couple of people within my Facebook Fan Page community commented on the fan page about my post “Not in the Mood“, however they did not leave a comment on the post itself that’s here on my blog.

Now every blog, small business blog and blogger has different goals and focus points, for me I enjoy the interaction within my different communities and it serves as a decent stress reliever. If you are looking to increase interaction with your customers, friends or daily blog readers having multiple communities would be an excellent starting point.

Anyway, instead of just saying thank you I wanted to offer a little information in the post as well. I have been on fire today, who knows maybe this will actually be my last blog post for the day.

THANK YOU!

sounds pretty awesome! I got a page with almost 9,000 fans and i’m struggling to get it to 10k – fan pages are the new list builders

@jason, wow 9,000 is pretty sweet! I find that in any business venture or online venture, 10k is that magic number. Hit it and it takes off from there.

I am guilty of only commenting here and nowhere else. In fact, I need to go play your “Day in the Life” series back to back to back and get all caught up. Now, where did I put those movie snacks.

@Anne Bender, you know I’m not going to complain about it :) Haha.

As for the series, I don’t know if I would recommend watching that snooze fest back to back or not.

@Karen @ Blazing Minds, it seems to come in heats, some weeks are better than others. Either way I appreciate the 100 or 300 ;)

I just started my Fan page and I’m not too sure what to do there. I do use FB a lot and I have noticed those that interact with me, like family, tend to comment there even when I leave an update that shows a new blog post. I haven’t had any interaction on my fan page yet.

It looks like you are getting ready to toss up a landing page, am I right? I see you have that test page going. I planned on adding a landing page over the weekend but got too busy.
