500 Twitter Followers

It was just over a week ago that I wrote my thank you post for reaching 300 twitter followers. I would like to thank everyone that took the time to viewed, retweet, or commented on my thank you post, I appreciate your feedback. Now thanks to a few good twitter tools and consistency I get to make a post thanking all 500+ of you for following me. Now before I get started I do want to say there are alot more people out there that have a tremendous amount of twitter followers, and certainly way more than I do. I am hardly a mastermind at how to get more twitter followers or increase your twitter followers fast. I am more a less a guy that likes the power of twitter and doesn’t mind sharing the things I learn about twitter along the way.

As you will notice from most of my posts that are related to twitter and/or my twitter experiences you will notice that I try to include information that I think might be helpful to those of you that are looking to increase your twitter following. Many of the twitter resources or Twitter API’s I come across really don’t fit what I am looking to do with my twitter account and twitter followers. The tools I list might be helpful to some of you and many of you might have no use at all for the tools I have seen twitter success with.

Before I list some of the tools that I feel helped me grow from 300 twitter followers to over 500 twitter followers so fast I would like to take a moment to thank a few of the 500 twitter followers I interact with. I still believe that the best value you can get out of twitter is only as good as the targeting of your twitter audience. I enjoy following people that tweet messages that are in common with the things I have going on either in my blogging life, personal life or business life. I don’t follow people just because they follow me and I do not Mass Follow people on twitter that have nothing to do with anything I am talking about.

@kikolani – if your looking for some of the best information available in regards to blogging, social bookmarking, twitter, proper tweeting, mashups, digg, pictures, life and so much more than Kikolani is a must follow.

Here are a few of the tools I feel contributed to the 500 twitter followers:

Xavier Media’s Get More Twitter Followers Tool

As I write this post I am currently at 517 twitter followers (you know how I roll), on April 2nd I posted Twitter Tweet Tools which was my first post in regards to getting more twitter followers. I included some information about this tool and have since written about it on two other occasions. Since writing that post Xavier Media’s “Get More Twitter Followers” tool has contributed to 206 of my 517 twitter followers.

There will be people out there that complain and say that this tool doesn’t give you valuable twitter followers. I agree, to some extent. However based on my own personal experiences I communicate and work with many of those 206 people on a daily basis, it increases my blog traffic, traffic to articles and contests I post for my business’s and so on. Not every twitter follower is a valuable one, but it’s the valuable ones that make all the difference. If nothing else try it, it’s free and if you don’t like the results the worst thing you have to do is hit the “unfollow” button.

Twitterel – Twitterl is a good little twitter tool that can aid in finding twitter followers and twitter friends with the same interest as you. Simply login with your twitter username and password, enter a few keywords that interest you and wait for the results to come back of your recomended twitter users.

Twitter Local – with a limousine business and a tanning business in a specific area in Florida it is important for me to find local tweeps to tweet to and read tweets from. Again targeting my potential twitter followers and people I prefer to follow. This is my preferred local twitter tool because it allows you to see multiple tweets and updates instantly with tweets from people in your local area.

Who Should I Follow – this twitter tool is quick, simple and gives you a targeted selection of suggested friends to follow. I follow a lot of local people on twitter so this tool gives me some excellent suggestions on twitter users to follow.

Local Tweeps – this is another excellent tool that a twitter user can use to find people in their local tweeting area. You can search by zip code and country to find local twitter users.

Flash Tweet – for those of you that strike gold with one of the Twitter local products I listed above or that have tweeps you follow in a specific niche, this tool can be helpful to you. This tool will allow you to mass follow twitter friends, friends. In short if you are looking for a Mass Twitter Follower, this will work for you.

Twibs – twibs is a business listing for twitter or a twitter business yellow pages of sorts, business owners list your business for free on twibs. Twibs can also be a helpful tool for sales leeds as well as finding business’s that use twitter.
