As many of you that read my blog on a daily basis already know, I’m on a pretty big Pinterest kick. The social media site that seems to be exploding over the last few months has me hooked when it comes to marketing potential for my small business, and it’s a pretty solid time killer too. In addition to Pinterest being a nice little marketing tool and pinboard addiction for the masses currently using it, Pinterest is also a great place to find great grub.
When it comes to finding wild deserts and pretty kick ass food recipes, Pinterest seems to be the new hot spot. I would know first hand, as I’ve been fortunate enough to consume a fair amount of goods over the past few weeks thanks to Tan Tush. Who just happened to be nice enough to email me over a collection of the creations that she’s brewed up thanks to Pinterest.
Included below is a link to each recipe along with a short summary of what I thought about the grub at hand.
Fast Pinterest Recipes
Oh Magic Bars… Such a tasty little treat, honestly one that was a little too dangerous. I couldn’t keep my hand out of the cookie jar. The chocolate chips in this thing made it impossible to ignore.
Tasty, gooey and great with a massive glass of milk. I’m not sure where Resurrection Rolls get their name, and it honestly doesn’t matter because they are good!
Baked Potato Soup
No more crappy baked potato soup that comes in a can or having to wait to get it at Applebee’s or Outback Steakhouse, because this baked potato soup recipe on Pinterest gets it done.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
I didn’t personally try the buffalo chicken dip because I’m not big on buffalo sauce. If you’re into buffalo dip, give this one a shot and let me know what you think of it.
Bloomin Onion Bread
Holy crap the bloomin’ onion bread was beyond addicting! Tan Tush changed up some of the ingredients to fit what our family would like most and it was killer.
Ingredients were replaced with; butter, minced garlic, and mozzarella cheese.
Grandma’s Chicken Casserole
I’m a huge fan of pretty much anything chicken, which can pretty much be said for everyone in my family. Grandma’s Chicken Casserole was a huge hit, a pretty big surprise since the kids aren’t usually all that excited about trying new things. They didn’t just “try it”, they both went back for seconds.
At first I was a little sceptic of the lasagna cups when I first heard about them. I mean let’s face it, lasagna is something that should be heaped on to a plate, not served in some cup form. At least that’s what I thought, needless to say I was very wrong. The serving size was plenty and wow they were delicious.
Sausage & Pepperoni Pastry Puffs
Let’s face it, sausage, pepperoni and pastry puffs! As expected there’s just no way this could go wrong. Easy to pop these things are yummy, give them a shot and let me know what you think.
Old Fashioned Martha Washington Candy
Screw Bonbons. Take an Almond Joy and super size it, and that’s what the old fashioned Martha Washington candies bring to the table. Act quick, grab a few and run from the container, because standing there will only lead to overload.
Big thanks to @TanTush for taking the time to brew up the great eats and send over this email.
