No this is not meant to be a spoiler post or anything like that, instead it is just my final American Idol post of the season which just solidifies exactly what I have been saying the entire season. Adam Lambert will win American Idol (who is Adam Lambert?), and that time has finally arrived after what seemed to be a very long and talentless season of American Idol.
I know my “talentless” line will strike a nerve with a few people, sorry for that. Even as I watched Kris and Adam battle it out last night in Part I of the American Idol Season Finale I felt like Kris should have been given like a seven point lead, you know a handicap like in little league baseball games. Honestly I felt it was that unfair, I thought that Kris’s first performance was probably his best of the season, his second performance made me want to cry for him.
This is hardly any fault of Kris’s, he is simply out classed just like the rest of the AI performers that got the boot before him. One positive thing that came out of last night’s performances was that I finally figured out what Kris reminds me of when he sings, a Gecko. Rude I know, but seriously he moves his mouth in some weird way which just always freaked me out. Gecko replica or not Kris will be a superstar, he will go on to make big money and live an amazing dream… He just will not be the American Idol Winner.
Adam Lambert might be all over the internet for all of the freakish things that seem to concern the Adam Lambert critics, regardless the kid can sing. Over the last few weeks I have seen all kinds of articles questioning Adam Lambert’s sexual preferences and just about anything else you can think of, thats the beauty of the internet. I do think that in the case of Adam Lambert I could care less what he does, the show is called American Idol which is a show based on Music and finding the next big singer. American Idol is not a show based on finding the best dressing, smartest, highest quality role model on the planet, it’s a singing competition and Adam Lambert has dominated that competition.
When it comes to Adam Lambert and the music he will end up singing after American Idol is over, I am probably like many of the other bagggillions of people that watch AI, you probably won’t see me buying an Adam Lambert album. It has nothing to do with his personal beliefs, what he looks like or anything of that nature, it is simply because his genre of music is not the genre that I prefer to listen to.
A lot of my opinions on American Idol are exactly that, opinions. During the season I often skipped through what I felt were the weaker performances and missed a few shows along the way, none of that changed my opinion that Adam Lambert Wins American Idol. @Frankie Yeah based solely on the fact that he is a “straight laced” perfect church angel as opposed to his talent range.
I hope those American Idol predictions are wrong, I think the best singer should win. Not the best…. whatever else it is people are looking for in a music show.

I really tried to like this show this year. I’ve watched it other years (but not all) and it really super sucked. I’ll just be glad when it’s over and people stop talking about it.

What do I think? What do I think? LOL I think it’s wonderful. The ability to have history in our lives. I too am an AI viewer. I too said that Adam Lambert would be in the finals(first time I heard his screaming a** in tryouts). But I wasn’t very into it this year and as the heads dropped so did my viewing.I didn’t really like anyone on this years cast except The cat that tried looking like Justin Timberlake all the time. He was smooth and in my book had the most talent. The ending was a shocker. So I agree with your side of this argument, it’s still hilarious reading it back now. Months and months beyond that point LMAO
Adam Lambert is fantastic. I have been a great fan of American Idol though I am from India. The talent I saw in American Idol can be seen rarely. However, My eyes are heading towards Indian Idol too. As i live in India, I have never missed a single episode of American Idol but still may be its of my patriotism, I looking forward for some home singer making history too. Well nice to read your post regarding him. And also expect you will include Indian Idol in your big site giving a very small corner.
I was so surprised when i first watched the episodes of Indian Idol. I didnt know that Indian Idol is a copy of American Idol including logo. May be Indian Idol be copied, including trademark but i came to know that Indian Idol 5 is going to break the record of TV Reality show and TPR all over Indian and even the world is going to see it.
