I know, I know. The people that know me are thinking, what the eff is wrong with him now he always has some kinda shit going on. Unlike previous times where I stubbed my finger or toe and thought it would drag me to the place 6′ under ground, this time will even make you think. Maybe I am not thaaaaat crazy after all.
I ask the question about me dropping dead for a few good reasons which I will list below, at which point you will think… Yup he’s going down. Lately I have had a lot of strange things going on which would lead me to believe that maybe this is the final run for me. Within the past month I have had a few things go on that don’t typically go on in my life, first and foremost would be the apology from a previous employee that I hadn’t talked to in over two years. Might not seem like that big of a deal but I can think of a few others that need to learn from her example without me even trying to think about it. Face it people leave companies like children all the time, but to actually realize that you might have acted a bit out of line is priceless
OK moving on from there I had my cousin Teresa, her husband Bill and my nephew come into town and it was the first time I had seen them in about 5 years. We had a great time and catching up was really nice. Than early last week I had another cousin of mine that I haven’t spoken to in about 15 years write me on my space to touch base and let me know how much she missed and loves me. Kinda odd because like I said it’s been about 15 years and if it’s been anyone’s fault for losing touch it would be mine from moving so many times over the last 15 years and losing touch with everyone.
Keeping on with the odd occurrences my brother Kevin will be coming into town on the 29th for a few days to go fishing and stuff with me and my other brother Kenny. Odd part about this is I dont think I have seen or talked to my brother Kevin since my Mother passed away. I never had any issues with Kevin he always treated me great when I was younger but the distance between us is primarily the reason we don’t see each other or talk that often. Sheer laziness I guess. Either way I am excited about seeing Kevin again and the three of us have never done anything like that since I have been an adult so thats pretty cool too.
Than just the other day my other cousin writes me on My Space, this is my cousin Matt we use to be super close when we both lived in New York. We were also really close when Matt lived in Florida and worked for me, that was one of those “Don’t hire family” learning experiences. Not that Matt is a bad guy or a bad worker or anything like that, just working with family and friends through the years learns ya real quick. I was happy to hear from Matt, I haven’t heard from him in a couple of years and I haven’t seen him in probably five years as well.
The odd month of occurrences continues for me and leads me to believe that maybe it’s my final run, maybe some doors are getting closed that were left open. Maybe some unturned stones are being turned over for a reason, I mean shit everyone says it, “Everything happens for a reason.” I can’t say I am sure what the reason would be for all of the weird things occurring at one time so I have no choice but to go with the check out time theory. I hope it’s not the case I have plenty of things I would still love to do and more doors I would like to open as well as close. Even if this isn’t the time for EJ to say peace out you will have to admit, it’s pretty odd and if nothing I am happy about the fact that some of the good people in my life from the past are still around, thinking of me the same way I am thinking of them.
