Back in the Mix… Maybe.

Buffer Pin It Back in the Blogging Mix

I am about to do something I haven’t done in a long time. I’m going to try to write a forced post in order to break this, “I don’t feel like writing anything” bug. Last summer I tore it up on this blog to the point it felt as if I were destroying rss feed readers all over the world. Wow, has a year changed things. Last year at this time I wasn’t as focused on specific projects like I am this year with a few of the things going on with Extreme Tan and Smoothies and the planned opening of the first Extreme Spray Tan location.

I’m hoping that this post will clear the mind a little bit so I can get a few posts out on here that I’ve been wanting to get out for a while, maybe this “Back in the Mix” blog about nothing post will serve as a worklist of some sort for me to focus on. If the plan goes right the small amount of focus achieved might help me rip a few posts to get back into the mix here instead of you being forced to look at my classic posts and old crap that sits here while I stay frozen.

Instead of babbling on about what might happen from this post I need to knock it off and get down to the list, here are a few topics I need to write about. Well, the post titles so it’s easy to link to later on ;)

Future Blog Post Ideas for Extreme John.com

  • No. You Are Not Just Like Me!
  • Safe Tan Sam Final Version
  • Boziao Brazilian Steakhouse Review
  • On to the Next One
  • Injuries to the Left and Injuries to the Right
  • Las Vegas Vacation Pictures I, II, III
  • RIO Las Vegas Review
  • Buzz Shot Party Coming Up
  • Brazilian Steakhouse Review

In addition to the topics above I would like to write a few posts about some of the iPad apps that I am finding to be useful to me as a small business owner, initially I wasn’t too sure about the iPad. That opinion has changed drastically, and I should write about it. I would also like to get my UFC 118 Fight Card and predictions done and get everyone caught up to speed on Insane Limos and MMA Punk.

It looks like this post might have opened up the thought lanes a little bit, hopefully I can roll out of this post and get right into one of the other posts.

Feel free to leave a comment or check out my Facebook fan page, I seem to keep my status’s updated better than my blog lately…. bleccchh.

P.s. Oh yeah, I also have a ton of catching up to do in regards to the Extreme Tan and Smoothies private label venture and how the indoor tanning lotion and sunless tanning products experience is going.

Hey John,

I know what you mean about not wanting to blog for a while sometimes I get a little blocked too. Blogging once a day is the kind of thing that it takes me a while to do it but once I do I feel great! Your ideas sound great I can’t wait to hear more about the steak house!

Been there, done that. I feel like I’ve been repeating myself over and over in my articles, so I decided to start blogging. But, here I am blocked as well. I don’t know if I just really don’t have anything valuable to say or if I worry that other people feel I don’t have anything valuable to say. LOL

I can’t say that those feelings are strange to me, I toss that ball back and forth in my head constantly. To do it or not to do it, who reads it anyway. Then every once in a while your surprised just how many people read it.

If you enjoy it, do it. At this stage of the game if I don’t have something I am going to enjoy writing about, I don’t bother.

I really hit a dry spot there for a while after my wife opened a retail shop and I dove in to help. But I am back on track now and that means visiting my friends online, seeing what they are up to and commenting about it. So good luck with your future posts John, I am fairly confident that neither one of us will ever run out of post ideas, especially a business owner like you. I use you all the time as an example of a biz owner who actively promotes his business online using social media.

I know the feeling of not blogging for a while. It’s like a writer having his or her lull moments wherein he/she could not concentrate in writing. Haha! What they do is just, tehy wait for teh right moment wherein they are inspired. Keep it up dude. I know your good at it. =)
