Before I get started I wanted to let those of you reading my blog for the first time know that I am the founder of Extreme Tan and Smoothies, a tanning salon chain that I founded in 2004 with my wife Lisa. Extreme Tan and Smoothies is based in Pinellas County Florida and serves the #Tampa area with six locations offering tanning bed tanning, spray tanning and mobile airbrush tanning services.
One of the things we are constantly doing within our small business is looking for new and fun things to do, things that are not only fun and that we can learn from. We recently kicked off our “Ambush Interview” series which is going really well on Facebook and our indoor tanning blog, the customers seem to really enjoy the Ambush Interviews as well.
I often share different things that we are doing within our small business here as a way to spark ideas in other small business owners minds and share ideas with other tanning salon owners. Today I want to share one of our latest video series with everyone, the series is titled “Behind the Tan“, and features Lakin answering a few questions for the camera.

A tanning salon? That’s pretty cool. It’s good that you can choose to venture in a lot of different businesses. I’m not sure I would have the flair for it.

Great blog, I have never been here before. I think that the videos here are a great way for people to feel a little more comfortable in your place. It is easy for them to recognize a face before coming in and they know a little history about the place. Best part is, it saves in the advertising budget!
