Big Brother 11 Preview

by Extreme John on June 8, 2009 |

Most of you are probably wondering why the hell I am writing a Big Brother 11 Preview, instead of ranting or pitching some new exciting business service we are offering.

If you remember I have written a few posts about Reality TV shows in the past, like when I posted the video of Kara DioGuardi in a Bikini or when I prematurly screamed that Adam Lambert was the American Idol winner. I was wrong.

Anyway back to the topic at hand, Big Brother 11 kicks off July 9th on CBS and I can’t wait. I am a huge Big Brother fan and I have been watching ever since the days of Evil Will, Big Brother Season 2 Winner to the Big Brother Season 8 Winner, mega asshole “Evil Dick” Donato. I am also one of those couch bastards that thinks he has what it takes to win Big Brother, but would rather make excuses about why he can’t do it as opposed to actually doing it.

The Big Brother 11 Cast has not been released yet and most likely won’t be released until the show debuts on July 9, 2009. As I patiently wait for the Cast of Big Brother 11 to be announced I figured I would take some ime and write a quick Big Brother 11 Preview and tell some of you that are not familiar with Big Brother, what the game is about. If your a Big Brother fan I would love to hear your feedback and thoughts on the cast of Big Brother 11 when the show starts.

Big Brother is an extremely addicting reality show and probably one of the best reality shows out there. I think the preview is plenty available in the internet, but while your blog is concerned it's something different from others.

I think that this sounds like a unique opportunity for the show. I watched the first season religiously, and then stopped for seasons 2-6 and started watching it again. If CBS would get some of the creative challenge team that worked on Survivor I think Big Brother could be even better. Challenging the “HOH” sounds a bit like Pirate Master, especially if each role got an extra perk.

I’m just glad the twist isn’t obviously partnered pairs again or secret siblings, etc. I’m interested to see how HOH will play out (will we have the infamous HOH room?), new rules, etc. Any chance they’ll get rid of slop and bring back PJ&J? While the torture of slop is great, I get so tired of watching the live feeds and seeing people eating condiments for meals.

I watched the first episode already. It’s pretty much the same as the past season. However, I like it, sort of.

Can’t bear the acting done by the participants. For me, it’s no longer a reality show because the camera provokes them to just act and not to be themselves.
