It is amazing to me that just a little over a week ago I was considering closing the Extreme John blog, it’s been something thats been on my mind lately. Not sure who I am trying to kid, I have always liked doing stuff on the web and since I have a non-compete and I am tied up in our two business’s it seems like the blog is a perfect alternative. Not to mention I am fresh of of celebrating with my “Back up the Blog King is here” article and “My CommentLuv Project“, there’s no sense pretending I’m not having fun with this.
500 Blog Posts
I really want to say 500 Blog Articles but in all honesty I would hardly call my style or the things I write about “Articles”. I have written a few “Articles” on my way to 500 blog posts, but most of those were by accident and just things I started writing with only one small idea of what I really wanted it to be. Either way here are a few of the things I wrote that I would consider articleish, as well as some of the posts I wrote that I really enjoyed writing.

Google Page Rank Update
Google started another page rank update on June 23rd 2009 and believe it or not this little shit hole about nothing and with no real purpose was fortunate enough to receive a Google PR increase, Extreme John.com is now a PR4 jumping up up from the PR3 is sat at during the last Google PR update.
Google PR ratings were something that I use to pay way too much attention to a few years back, it’s not something I have really taken seriously or even payed attention to here until just recently. I don’t write specific articles about anything, I am not a pro blogger or a search engine optimization guru, all though I do hold plenty of SE tactics thanks to years of trying to make money online.
There are plenty of bloggers that put a lot of weight on their Google Page Rank who will probably see that this site is at a four and wonder how the hell that happened, a blog about nothing sitting at a PR4 is pretty funny it also shows me that I need to figure out how to find more time to update Insane John more often. Increasing my PR at Insane John with constant updates and information for people looking to get into the limousine business could turn out to be a very profitable move on my part, I just need to make it happen.

@Deneil Merritt Chances are I will do the same thing when I hit 1000 that I did when I hit 500, not realize until almost two weeks laters and finally post about it. Haha.

Glad you decided to keep blogging. Some of the industry’s top bloggers (if not all of them) will tell you that even if no one read their blog, they’d still continue posting. If you enjoy your hobby, why not continue it? With the millions of users on the internet, you know someone’s always listening.
