Today marks the fourth day that Abe and Carter have been gone and back at All American Dog Training to get a few issues resolved. if you will remember I wrote a blog post about another English Bulldog Attack a few days earlier, I also mentioned that their fighting was increasing and things like water and loud noises didn’t help to get them to stop. I also posted a few pictures of the massive wounds I received trying to get them to stop…. Hahaha “massive”.

Thursday night while the puppies were out in the backyard Abe and Carter got into another brawl, this is the first time they brawled in a wide open space where there weren’t any people in  the area and that they were not fighting over a toy or something they found. This brawl was a pretty hefty one and featured Abe trying to remove Carter front leg, I finally got them under control and separated.

I called Dave from All American Dog Training Academy and explained to him what had happened and he was quick to resolve the problem by saying that he would let Glenn (the owner) know they were coming back in and that they would pick up Abe and Carter first thing in the morning on Friday for another two weeks of training.

Dave and Dan showed up Friday morning which was probably a good thing, because first thing that morning before the two of them could even get out of the doggy door they tried to go at it again except I was standing right there to get them redirected before they even got started.

It sucked to see the two little guys go off to have their little bitch fights resolved but it’s better doing it now than before they get much stronger and much more aggressive about everything they do. Dave and Dan from All American Dog Training will take the next two weeks to work on the fighting as well as retraining them on a few of the initial training problems they had and get them better with their off leash training where they need some serious help.

Training one dog is rough enough. I can’t imagine the kind of patience you have to have running a dog training academy.
