Don't sweat the cursing? There's something I find quite attractive about cursing. LMAO. I curse too but only when I'm mighty frustrated.

I've seen quite a few of them who claim to share linklove through dofollow links BUT never do. They simply assume that most commentators don't know how to check dofollow on a site.

On average, I comment on dofollow blogs to get backlinks BUT only when I've got something truly useful to say. As well I comment on nofollow blogs if the post catches my fancy and I like the way the blogger presents himself/herself.

I believe in sharing the love. I truly do and that's why I even allow certain commentators on my blog to use their choice of keywords rather than follow my comment policy and I link out freely to whosoever deserves it.
I'm not saying I'm not a bullshit blogger as opinions vary. I'm saying that I do my very best not be a bullshit blogger.

If I had an internet connection at home, I'd probably be retweeting loads of posts but unfortunately that ain't the case. I so my browsing at the cybercafe so there's very little retweeting that I can handle.

Thanks John for giving a name to those you describe as "Bullshit Bloggers" I have trying to categorize these types of bloggers for a while now, those who talk about going out and networking their blog, linking, commenting, then never doing it.

But then their are people like me. I spent 3 years building the infrastructure of my network while holding down a full time job. Endless nights of learning about WordPress, successful blogging techniques and coming up with keyword loaded, but relevant content on a regular basis. Thank G I like to write!

So here I am 3 years later with a network of some 80 sites consisting of blogs, directories, stores, and landing pages. These are not free blogs but are custom templates that I developed with a web master. All the sites built using best practices, nothing spammy, no shortcuts and no traffic!

I have discovered that what I learned about blogging during those 3 years is now more valuable than the actual network I built. Go figure.

Sorry to ramble, my point in commenting here is that bloggers need to learn how to network, grow relationships, comment, linkluv, retweet, etc. I am learning more every day thanks to blogs like yours but I was so tied up in managing my network I lost sight of that aspect of blogging or didn't know it existed, like you, in the early days I would read an article on a blog only to see what other bloggers were doing and then leave the site without comment. Now I know better.

@ Brian, what a brilliant idea :-D You should really put adsense on that site, if they are dumb enough to spam it they may be dumb enough to click away, that and you probably get a lot of hits from the search engines.

You know, I haven't read your blog for long but one thing I'm sure of is that you're no bullshit blogger! I like the fact that you call it as you see it and don't care too much about what others think. You should totally post the list, dude. Unless I'm on it. :)
