Business and Personal Goals for March

Business Goals and Achieving Them

I can’t really remember ever posting my “goals” here on my blog any other time in the past and I can’t really imagine why I asked Dawn to make the graphic for this post. Those of you that don’t subscribe to my rss feed or connect with me via my Facebook Fan Page probably have no idea who “Dawn” is, Dawn does the graphics around this place and certainly helps each post look a little less painful. haha.

There’s really no sense in pretending that I am going to come with anything really ground breaking or any business tips or blogging tips that you haven’t already heard. Goals are important to reaching any kind of success, having obtainable and consistent goals is an entirely different story and in my opinion can bring even greater levels of success when done right.

Now even though I don’t typically write my monthly goals on a list I would suggest that others write down their goals and post them in a place that they will see them and see them frequently. The fridge might be a good spot or if your really vein you can stick your goals on that mirror you stare into priming and prepping for your daily mischief. Now, before you go slapping together a giant list of things to do in March I would suggest doing the opposite, 5 simple short and obtainable goals will be a great start.

Business Goals

Business Blog Alexa Rank

1) Get Extreme Tan and Smoothies.com into Alexa Top 100k sites.

2) Continue to increase our social networking presence with Extreme Tan and Smoothies and Insane Limos.

3) Continue to improve our ordering system and decide on a replacement tanning salon software company to replace Salon Touch.

4) Double spray tanning sessions at our St. Petersburg tanning salon and Seminole tanning salon locations.

Personal Goals

1) Force myself to take 30 minutes of time each day to do something I enjoy that does not involve work.

2) Spend less time procrastinating when it comes to personal things and spend more time doing it.

3) Have more patience. (this has been on my list for probably 30 years)

Looks like that’s about it. As you can see I like to keep things pretty simple and I would suggest that you do the same, sitting down for hours and writing a massive list of goals that you probably will never be able to achieve doesn’t do anyone any good. The key to achieving goals is setting achievable goals to begin with.

I like the simple posts. Always have. Great business goals and there’s no doubt you will reach them. Your personal goals are pretty close to mine. I have a very hard time doing something I enjoy for 30 minutes. I am always thinking about the business. That is something I am personally working on also.

This is what I call the ” real ” to do list 8)

I totally agree with you John regarding the fact on writing your goals somewhere where you can see them every moment you look at them.

I am so working on this but I tend to procrastinate  so I never end up finishing what I’ve started/set up as my goal.

I guess I just have to work on it and start setting it up.

I think doing things you actually enjoy and are not work related is the most important thing mentioned here. It is something not enough poeple do in the modern world and is something that can put you in the right mood for working as well!

Nice list, it’s like you read my mind with better Alexa, and be more patient and stop procrastinating..lol

If I could focus more, I’d be unstoppable. But at same time, I work great under pressure, so I think it all works itself out.

Good Luck with the goals.

Your personal goals seem very much like mine also. Doing something that you enjoy and not thinking about work while doing it can be pretty hard tho’. I should work on procrastination too, heh. Nice list, keeping is simple is more efficient indeed.

It’s a good idea to post your goals on your blog and/or tell other people about them. When I do this I feel like I have an obligation to fulfill them.

Those are some nice and extreme goals! It is good to set out goals in writing, or on screen, as you then become more aware and focused on them.

I agree with spending time on something you like doing which isn’t work. I find I become boring when I spend too much time working!

@Kevin@Sugagloss, no doubt. I get off into space and thats it, need that non work time to get things right.

Great goals! Setting goals is something I think a lot of us slack on doing. It is best when you put pen to paper and commit to your future!
