When you work in a service based industry there is a lot of face time with customers, but even without that face time say for example on customer service chats, it is important to treat customers well. Letting customers know that they are valued is important which is why this article is worth a read to ensure that you DON’T say these things to your customer!

Also in news this morning: 10 Steps to Getting More Done in Your Day. We’ve all had those days where absolutely nothing gets done and they are aggravating so when I saw this headline I knew it was worth sharing. Everyone wants to get more done in their day and this article covers some steps to help you do that including: Do not start the day by checking e-mail, voice messsages or social media feeds, Start by completing two things on your list that must get done today and Make decisions and take action.

Good biz blitz John. Think I’ll use the customer one in my monthly mash. Now I just have to figure out how to get a few of those ten steps to getting more done tattooed to my forehead. :)

I have read about the “5 worst thing you can say to a customer”. Thanks, those are don’ts and I should keep it in my mind. Sometimes, it might be really hard to deal with some problems the customer has been encountering.
