It’s time again for the Business Blitz again here at Extreme John and that means that it’s time to cover a number of small business tips ranging from how to get more clients through Twitter, monitoring your brand on Twitter and more!

Hot Business News For June 13th, 2011

First up this morning “3 Simple Steps to Finding More Clients on Twitter” by Joseph Putnam over at Copy Blogger. I have always been a huge fan of Twitter and this article highlights some great steps that you can take to attract more clients to your business. From finding clients to how to make contact with them and soft sell your business this article covers it all in three easy steps and is well worth a read.

Next up this morning another article that focuses on Twitter. “6 Ways to Monitor Your Brand on Twitter” provides six steps that can help you to stay on top of your business’s progress on Twitter. From monitoring other people’s mentions of your business to showing you how to monitor keywords that are important to your business, this article has some great tips to help you to keep an eye on your Twitter presence.

A new blog that I found this morning attracted me with their article “How to Attract and Retain Customers“. Duct Tape Marketing focuses this article on the importance of not only bringing new customers in to your business but it also highlights the importance of retaining customers. I have said it before and I will say it again, it is much more expensive to attract new customers than it is to maintain old ones. Attracting new customers is important but it often tends to overtake the focus of small business owners goals where retaining clients should also be a major focus.

Last up this morning is an article that might seem strange for the serious business owner but it is an article that focuses on engaging clients, a factor that is key to success. “Five New Tools to Help You Add a Game to Your Website” doesn’t just focus on adding “games” but it also focuses on offering reward systems and other methods to keep your website clients engaged.

Final Business Blitz Thoughts

I feel like this mornings business articles are a little haywire but of the four that I shared my favorite has to be the article that focuses on monitoring your brand on Twitter. I am always looking for new tools and tricks to stay on top of social networking and this article was packed full of them!

Well Twitter and Facebook both have a lot to give to people like me and I will always try and cash in each and every opportunity available.

As Twitter is one of the most widely used website these day so instead of wasting time on it it can now be used for business purpose too.

Yea its difficult to keep daily visitors indulged into the website you have to give a lot to keep them interested in your website.
Games and reward systems both are very effective in creating and maintaining interest of visitors to the website.

Twitter is a good way of interacting with potential customers but how many people around you would be using Twitter for expanding their business or would be interested in knowing about your business?????
I would say local campaigns can be more effective in attracting more productive customers.

In simple words start attracting people who are near your business and than think of social media for publicity.
