Hot Business News For May 24, 2012
First up this morning: If Your Employees Are Squabbling, Your Company’s Probably Standing Still. I liked this article enough to post it this morning because squabbling among employees is one of the things I simply do not stand for in my small business…mostly because it gets on my nerves but also because it’s just plain bad for business. Are your employees causing your business to stand still with their squabbling?
Also in news this morning: 4 Strategies To Turn “Big” Into A Disadvantage. The title of this piece caught my eye because in most business fields bigger is always believed to be better. As a small business owner however, I know that there are many things about small business that can be used to your advantage and this article highlights that.
Next up this morning: 5 Lessons Steve Jobs Could Teach You About Creating a Popular Blog. I like Steve Jobs, I think he was a successful guy who made a hell of an impact on the business world. So I wanted to share this article this morning. What are some of the lessons you could learn from Steve Jobs? You’ll have to read this piece to find out what they all are but two of them are: staying hungry and keeping it simple.
Lastly this morning: How to Increase Your Exposure By Defining Your Goals. This last article is a guest post from Chris Brogan’s blog but I think it’s well written and to the point. Sure there’s a book being sold in there somewhere, but the article itself has some valuable information that every small business owner could put to use.
My favorite article this morning is the last article I posted about defining your goals. I love seeing a well written article that offers more than just a sales pitch and this is exactly what this article does.
