First up this morning: 9 Facebook Marketing Tactics that’ll Triple Your Fans. Most small business owners out there are starting to understand the importance of having a Facebook presence but many are still trying to get a grip on how to increase fan numbers. This article covers a number of tips to help you increase your Facebook fan numbers including: Crank out a lot of content, Run weekly giveaways and discounts and Train your staff.

No matter what type of work you do, forging and maintaining relationships is a huge part of being a successful business. This article tackles five of the biggest mistakes that you might be making with your work relationships. Next up this morning: 7 Tips for Naming Your Business. This article caught my eye today for a couple of reasons – I have always been fascinated with the business naming process and also I just happened to notice a company called “Barking Cow” and wondered just how they came up with that one. This article includes a number of tips to help when it comes to naming your business including: The name needs to sound good when it’s said aloud, Use a name that has meaning to it and conveys a benefit and Avoid Web 2.0-ish syndrome.

Finally this morning: Add These Five Commands to the Top of Your To-Do List, Avoid the Most Common Deathbed Regrets. I had to include this article just because it interested me and I thought it might interest you too. This piece focuses on a number of things that you should add to your “to do list” to avoid the most common deathbed regrets, these things include making yourself happier and not working quite so hard (you know who you are!)

Parting Shots

The article on the five commandments was actually my favorite article this morning. I think it’s sometimes good to look back over things and take stock of where you stand in life. This article is a good reminder to do just that and make adjustments where they are necessary.
