Hot Business News For February 27, 2012
First up this morning: One Way Google Might Crash Cable’s Party. Lately Google seems to be touching on just about every single aspect of…well, life. This article covers Google’s newest venture in to the world of television and how Google could well pose a threat to Cable television. Cable already has plenty to content with with the likes of Netflix and Hulu but now that Google is in on the deal one has to wonder just how low Cable prices can go.
Also in news this morning: Stick to what you (don’t) know. Seth Godin’s blog always intrigues me, not only because of the content that he posts but also because he manages to make his point in such short and concise posts. Today I’m featuring this post of his about the importance of speaking out about what you don’t know. Sounds strange doesn’t it? Take a look and it’ll make perfect sense.
Next up this morning: Blog Wise Tip 3: Plan for Productivity. Productivity, among other things is the key to successful business and this article, the third in a series highlights the importance of planning for productivity. This article is a great one to read if you are just getting started in blogging. Over the years I have found that the more I can do to improve my productivity the better!
Finally this morning: Adobe Photoshop Touch Is Photoshop Cleverly Reimagined for the iPad. Throughout my adult life I have held a number of different jobs that have required knowledge of Photoshop. Photoshop is one of those things that I love to hate but the bottom line is that it gets the job done every time. Now Photoshop has a new version called Photoshop Touch that has been reimagined to work with the iPad, I think it’s time for me to dust off my Photoshop skills and put them to the test!
Parting Shots
My favorite article this morning is actually the article about Photoshop Touch. It has been such a long while since I dusted off my Photoshop skills and this is the perfect reason to do it!

i haven’t yet used a photoshop on ipad but use it very effectively on my iPhone, it is well optimized for the phone purpose. I like to use the camera option of the photoshop app in my phone,, it adds in a lot of features to the default camera wizard.

I’m even more sad, I’m terrible with Photoshop on PC. I never was able to get off the ground with it, couldn’t even imagine on an iPhone.

My favorite article is “Stick to what you (don’t) know”. I believe that all of us knew nothing and we just have to take that first step to speak up our ideas and support it with valid information that will establish its validity.
I don’t like the idea of google taking over everything, but I am glad cable could get some serious competition. My cable company (comcast/xfinity) sucks ass and has recently taken some channels away.
