Hot Business News For May 7, 2012
First up this morning: Why Your Business Shouldn’t Be Afraid To Launch And Learn . I like starting off Monday morning with business headlines in video format because it’s a nice way to ease in to work and this is a great video to start with. This piece covers why your business shouldn’t wait around on ideas and should act upon them as soon as possible.
Also in news this morning: Blogging Success and the Law of Averages. I really like this article because so many of us have this image of those “big bloggers” as hitting it big with the first thing they do. The truth is that this is rarely if ever the case and this article covers just that – the law of averages. You have to fail numerous times before you find something that works for you.
Next this morning: How to Be a Problogger on Tumblr. Social networking is a topic that i cover frequently here at Extreme John, but one form of social networking that I just don’t pay enough attention to is Tumblr. This is a really great article that covers how you can really make an impact on Tumblr as a blogger and it’s worth reading if you are looking to make your presence on Tumblr.
Finally this morning: 7 Content Marketing Articles Worth Reading. This article has a compilation of articles that are great resources for improving your content marketing technique. These articles include one from Seth Godin, a few great book recommendations and how you can increase your productivity.
My favorite article this morning is the article that covers the law of averages because I’ve had my own fair share of “fails” and I think they’re an important step along the way to success.
