I was a little excited earlier today when I found out that a new location based app for business networking was released for Android and iPhone. Of course I have to deal with the Android version while I patiently await the iPhone to be available through Verizon Wireless. Well at least that’s what I thought, that was until I downloaded the new Unsocial app for Android and signed up for a new account, I quickly received a message informing me that Unsocial wasn’t available in my area yet.

I’m devastated.

Unsocial is a start-up developed to connect small business and small business owners using location based services like Foursquare with a LinkedIn feel.

Check out the Unsocial App for Android, maybe it’s available in your area.

P.s. If it’s available in your area I would appreciate it if you leave a comment and share your thoughts on Unsocial.

I wish it were available, I’m sure for the first 10 months it will be like a ghost town on there but there’s always that 1 contact.

It is only available in San Francisco and only in beta… so, looks like we’ll be waiting quite a while. I thought it would at least be available in Austin, but no such luck for Texas cities either.

Usually you guys get lucky over there in Texas, you get all of the new stuff early. Do you see yourself using this tool when it becomes available?

This app looks cool, and like a very good idea. I downloaded it onto my iPhone. Of course, not available in Europe either… I will also test when I get back to Australia. But with so many blackspots in US, it doesn’t look good.

Hmmmm, I wonder what this app can REALLY do?
