Business with Butch

Buffer Pin It Butch Patrick and Extreme John

Finally it’s time for another freaky Friday and this one is going to be a little EXTRA FrEaKy thanks to my good friend Butch Patrick, those of you that subscribe to my rss feed might remember a couple of months back I wrote a post about meeting Butch Patrick. I had the pleasure of meeting Butch thanks to Insane Limos fleet manager Michelle L. who was kind enough to connect the two of us during a quick meeting and picture moment in front of the house.

Butch was nice enough to choke me in the first meeting btw.

If you managed not to click on any of the links above and you either live under a rock or somehow missed the curve, Butch Patrick played Eddie Munster on the hit TV show The Munsters, a show that first aired in September 1964. Needless to say for this freaky Friday I wanted to share a picture that Michelle took while we sat down to discuss potential business together at the Winghouse in Largo, Florida.

Butch is wearing a pretty bad ass shirt that you really can’t see because his left arm is blocking the logo. The shirt dawns the logo of Barris, the most famous car customizer on the planet. Barris Kustom Industries is responsible for building Munster’s Koach, Batmobile, General Lee, Flint-Mobile and the whip that the Beverly Hillbillies pimped back in the day, check out Barris.com for the laundry list of customizations that Barris brought to the world.

I hope you enjoy your freaky Friday as much as I intend to.

P.s. Oh yeah before I get out of here I have to thank Butch for stopping by the Extreme Tan and Smoothies Gulf Coast Cleanup Balloon Event on Saturday to show his support, and thanks for coming by the house for UFC 114 :) Awesome night last Saturday!

Oh very cool – I remember enjoying reruns of “The Munsters” when I was younger (was huge into Green Acres and Mr. Ed too). Will definitely check out the other posts about your previous encounter.

That’s cool, that is one of the all time great shows. I only know them from reruns and it seemed like “The Addams Family” got a bit more attention, but I always liked “The Munsters” better.

@Vince@Pro Wrestling Moves, without a doubt The Munsters is an all time classic. Some of the stories from filming back in the day and some of the antics that took place are always fun to hear about too. Put’s a different perspective on the show and how different things were back than that’s for sure.

I used to love The Munsters. So what’s Butch doing with himself these days?

As for Barris Kustom Industries, that’s an impressive list of achievements.

@Sire, hey Sire. Butch is staying busy man, he’s a mover that’s for sure :)

It looks like we might be shooting a test for a potential show with Insane Limos and Butch in the near future. Either way Butch is always smiling and laughing, class act.

John, you guys look good together! Butch got to work with one of my all time favorite actors, Fred Gwynn, I watched him as Francis Muldoon in Car 54 Where Are You?, as the judge in My Cousin Vinny and of course, hilarious as Herman Munster. That would be my first question to Butch if I could ask him something; how was it working with Fred Gwynn?
On another note: I recently re-connected with a boyhood friend who still lives in Tampa (we attended Tampa Jesuit High back in the day), he is a photojournalist with the Sun Sentinel and of course whenever the subject of Tampa comes up I always tell people about this guy I met on the PC that runs a tanning business in Tampa, Extreme John. I always get a kick out of their reactions to your picture/logo but it just goes to show that you should never judge a book by it’s cover! John may look nutty but he is a smart businessman and laughs all the way to the bank! Good luck with your Butch Patrick association, he looks like he would be fun to work with. Now I have two reasons to go back to Tampa for a visit someday!

@Dick, I appreciate the well wishes, if nothing else I am just excited about the opportunity to meet Butch, everything else is a bonus.

I can only imagine some of the reactions you get, I get to see reactions like that myself pretty much on a daily basis. I have to go to the airport next week, that’s always an event. lol
