I really can’t even believe I am going to write about this stupid Carrie Prejean sex tape BS, if the name doesn’t ring a bell for you she’s the somewhat hot blonde that was involved in the the Miss USA Pageant crap that you were forced to hear about for the last year.
The news broke that there was a Carrie Prejean sex video a little over a week ago and has really started to pick up steam as people are criticizing her for not apologizing about the sex tape, people are also screaming that she’s a hypocrite as well. Basically in short Carrie Prejean made a “pornographic” video when she was 17 years old and it’s starting to surface now, perfectly planned for her book release and some tour she’s doing.
I really couldn’t care less about Carrie Prejean in a sex tape of some sort, she has been very clear in interviews claiming that she is not having sex on the video which leads me to believe it’s more on the soft porn side of things. Anyway, my point with this post is not to get into the lowdown details of what kind of sexual activity Carrie Prejan might have been involved in, if she took the full ride that’s her choice and as for the Carrie Prejean video it hasn’t been released to my knowledge. Not that I really even care.
I am writing about the Carrie Prejean sextape because I find it completely ridiculous to think that in today’s society REAL PEOPLE expect this grown woman to apologize for something she did in her private life YEARS AGO.

Who’s business is it that Carrie Prejean might have gotten plowed on video, wore some sexy lingerie, made a bikini video, or pressed her rack against the front windows of her home in the middle of the night? It’s nobody’s business and in my opinion to think that anyone expects her to get on the news or do an interview about her friggin sex tape is insane to me to begin with, to expect her to apologize for making the sextape is……..
I can’t even put it in to words, leave a comment and finish my statement or share your thoughts on the subject. Do you think it’s _______ for people to expect Carrie Prejean to apologize for making a sex video years and years ago?

Clearly everyone and their mother has a sex tape laying around some where. What is the big deal! The media only makes a big deal out of her having to apologize so that she can make the media rounds and bolster their ratings. I agree that Paris is a lot smarter than people give her credit for but it also makes me wonder: if she is so smart why can’t she find a better way to get famous. I doubt she did it all for the money because she was filthy rich to begin with, so I’m assuming it was for fame.
As for this sex tape, it looks like another marketing ploy. Pretty soon bloggers will start releasing sex tapes that end with a link to their blog

But as someone mentioned, those pagents have very specific morals clauses. On top of that, her “platform” is the very conservative, “I am perfect and you aren’t, so I am better than you and always will be” thing…and this just proves she is hypocritical!
Her “marriage (read sex!) is between a man and a woman” thing that blasted her into this position is what also I think that many are having a problem with. Is having it “by yourself” then wrong, too? @More to it that “just sex tape”, when you are discussing her “platform” are you referring to the whole Miss USA pageant? If so she’s not in the pageant anymore.
This isn’t so much about a 17 yr old sending her boyfriend a sex tape, this isn’t about her making a sex tape alone or with others, this has nothing to do with her book or how shallow she is.
It’s about the fact that real people actually expect an apology from someone for doing something years and years ago, something that had nothing to do with any of those real people.
The silly things she does in HER LIFE might be entertaining to watch in it’s current state. What mistakes or things she did when she was 17 or even 13 have nothing to do with the real people that wanna get all fired up and expect apologies for what she did in her life at a younger age.
It’s safe to say at the age of 17 we all did something that someone in society would have a problem with, it doesn’t mean it’s anyone’s problem or business except for that specific person.
I did see the Larry situation on Headline News this morning, I didn’t have the volume on but from what I understand (based on trying to read her lips and the text on the screen) it looked as if she had a problem with a question Larry asked, perhaps something that was none of his business or anyone else’s for that matter. All though I really can’t say for sure since I haven’t watched it yet.
As for holding the book up and showing it and talking about it and mentioning it, it’s “plugging” that’s exactly what she should be doing if she wants to maximize sales on her book. It’s the sole purpose of going on that show in the first place, to plug. It only makes sense, I mean who else would want to just go and sit and talk with Larry King…. of all people? It’s safe to assume she had better things she could have been doing, getting the call from the King show means big viewers and big $ opps for her based on her appearance on the show.
If I knew I was going on Larry King about a book, I would certainly have a pretty solid gameplan for promoting my product.

Since she has turned a 1st Runner Up position in Miss USA – not even Miss America which has more “prestige” (though they are becoming outdated as so many things!) – into THIS! Whatever “this” is! Is that something like “definition of is”? LOL

It’s not that she held up her book or said “In my book, (insert name here), Larry, I talk about blah, blah, blah”…it’s the way she did it! Yes, she was uncomfortable with Larrry, calling him “inappropriate” and chastizing him. It was the most awkward, uncomfortable moment of tv I have seen in a very long time – maybe ever! It doesn’t help that for most people, Larry King is very respected. I have read some opposing views – things like “He is done. Get off the stage. Fix your dentures”. Stuff like that which I don’t agree with. Supposedly, there was an agreement that there would be no phone calls. WHAT? That is what Larry King is all about! He said he didn’t know that, and apologized. She tried to say he did “We had a conversation about it Larry”.
It was her actions, reactions. You don’t go on Larry King to hawk your book, when the topic of conversation that got you there was in fact this sex tape…and not expect to be asked about it! That is again, another hypocritical action on her part, in my opinion.
Obviously, many many many people are talking about this Larry King appearance. It’s more than “just talking about her book and being prepared”. You should watch it.
Even if you agree with her about everything, acting the way she did in such a huge forum (meaning LKL) is insane! It’s her actions and reactions that are what people have a problem with. She acts so haughty and like she is someone important. She calls EVERYONE a liar. I don’t believe her. It’s everyone else’s fault. People that are very respected in this world. People that are in positions that they don’t get to be in without being smart. And she says they are all wrong and she is all right. Will you address the morals clause that she signed when signing up for the pagent? Remember Vanessa Williams? HALLE BARRY was a 1st Runner Up in 1986. So I stand corrected…by myself :-) But clearly, this is not the normal state of affairs…in fact, even when Miss America Vanessa Williams had to step down and the 1st Runner Up became Miss America, few know her name. But we all know Vanessa’s, right?

In regards to how she acts and the forum she was on, non of that matters to me either. Larry King puts his panties on the same way that I do, she didn’t call Larry and ask to be on there, they called her.

However, I will also say that I think he was out of line. If there was an agreement BEFORE she was put on the show, the agreement should be followed.

The Shannon Moakler stuff is just funny to me, who the hell is Shannon Moakler? She’s a former runner up, former PLAYBOY PLAYMATE and worked on a reality show thanks to Travis Barker. Screw her for leaving in the first place, she had a good thing going on and let personal opinion and views get in the way of staying professional in a professional position.

As for not knowing the entire story, you are 100% correct. It’s a good thing this post wasn’t about the whole story and instead it was about:
1. how people can get so passionate over something so not their business
2. how people should worry more about themselves instead of worrying about everyone else
As for assuming that I am a Sarah Palin fan or whatever else and wondering where I stand on certain issues, I’ll make that answer simple. All of them suck and I trust all of them less than I trust the average human being, and that isn’t much either. I have my beliefs, none of which have anything to do with this post or how I stand on issues. Ill have to have a question and answer session on here one day and answer all of those questions that really aren’t anyone’s business.
Before I get out of here, I want to touch on the “Morals” thing one more time… You do realize that morals are something from within, her morals took her down a different path than you. Big deal, it doesn’t mean she is any les of a human being than you are. She makes choices in her life every single day just like the rest of us, she has to live with those choices not you or any of us.
Chances are you know way more about this story based on TV and news or whatever else than I ever will, and thats because you make the choice to stay engaged with it, your views on the topic are so strong that you seem like you have a problem with every aspect of it. Where in reality she is a 2 dimensional figure on a TV screen, you don’t know her on any personal level and your not related to her.
I had a wise Uncle that once said, “Don’t believe everything you hear and only 1/2 of what you see.”
I want to just say one more thing on this subject…because I really am not as “interested” in it as it may seem. It’s more that I am someone who is unable to work due to severe chronic pain and fatigue and other health issues, so I am in front of my tv and computer 14+ hours a day. This stuff is out there, so I hear/read it.
I hear what she tells me. What she wants me to know about her. Not from other people. From her own mouth.
Regarding the “morals” thing. OH MY GOSH…if you had any idea! I have not one single solitary problem with what she did regarding the making of the sex tape. I have not made one myself, but only because I have no desire to see what I am already experiencing. If I want to reexperience it again, I will just do it again! LOL!!! I have done much worse as far as “morals” go…and while I am not proud of it, it helped make me who I am. And since I like who I am, I accept it as part of me.
It’s again, her hypocritical comments and actions that I have a problem with. End of story. She signed a contract that said none of that stuff was out there. Period. It was out there. She lied. She has tried to come up with excuse after excuse as to why it’s not true. But they have all fallen flat, and/or been proven false.
I assume you don’t know that the original “nude shots” that were brought out she explained away as “Modeling photos that I was wearing a top that the wind machine blew open and I wasn’t aware of them!” She really thought we would believe that.
I will NEVER judge anyone for their actions. Because I don’t want you to judge me for mine. And I have done some really not-so-great things. But I won’t lie about those things. And don’t lie to me about what you have done. I WILL in fact judge you if you lie to me!

The same problem I have in fact with Sarah Palin. I don’t care what you think…or your platform, or your stances, or what you choose to support. I don’t have to support those same things to respect you. I do have a problem with you if you do/say those things and do something else. I cannot and will not respect you.
