Chuck Liddell joins the family

by Extreme John on July 14, 2009 |

A few days ago when I posted my UFC 100 review article I also mentioned that a few of the excellent people in my life that I am fortunate enough to work with and be friends with were nice enough to get me something super bad ass for my birthday.

I initially tweeted a picture of the bad ass gift as soon as I got it, but the picture came out crappy and hardly did the gift any justice. I finally charged the battery in my camera and was able to snap a few pictures of it before I ran out the door and headed to the office.

Anyone that has known me for any period of time or that has been into the Extreme Tan and Smoothies, Inc. or Insane Limos, Inc. corporate offices knows that I loves me some sports memorabilia. If you haven’t been into the office or over to the house than you wouldn’t really have any way of knowing my love for sports memorabilia.

Autographed Hank Aaron Picture
My sports memorabilia includes autographed pieces from Mike Tyson, Nolan Ryan, Hank Aaron and an autographed Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz UFC fight poster to name a few. I also have a few sports memorabilia pieces that are not autographed, like my “Curse of the Bambino” replica document that I purchased in Vegas a few years back at Field of Dreams.

“Curse of the Bambino”

I should probably stop typing and get down to some pictures so you can get on with your day, before I get out of here I do want to say thanks again to James, Lisa, Sang, Michele, Nate, Mike and Lace for getting me such a kick ass birthday gift. I couldn’t be happier adding another MMA piece to the collection, especially this kick ass Chuck Liddell autographed glove.

I hope you enjoyed the little peek into my sports memorabilia collection, if you collect sports memorabilia or just feel like saying something snappy feel free to leave a comment, until next time have a great day!

Glad you liked the Chuck Liddell glove, but that Babe Ruth Curse Of The Bambino is even better.

@Mike as much as I would like to agree with you for “respect” reasons, I can’t. The Chuck Liddell glove is king!

That’s quite a collection there John. You seem to collect sports memorabilia the way I collect Elvis stuff, but even so I’m willing to lay a bet that you have way more stuff in your collection than I have in mine. :-D

@Sire My collection of Sports memorabilia really isn’t that big, I just really like the pieces that I have, probably very much in the same way you love your Elvis memorabilia.

@The Constant Complainer Thank you
