Over the last couple of days I’ve been busy putting together a video series, yes a video series. Most of the readers that subscribe to my rss feed know that I’m not really all about the videos, if I’ve been in 10 videos on this site in the last couple of years I would be amazed. In addition to working on that video series which will be titled “A Day in the Life of Extreme John” we also managed to get in a Town Hall Meeting for our tanning salon chain Extreme Tan and Smoothies. I cooked breakfast for everyone, pancakes, bacon, egg and cheese bagels. Good stuff.
Anyway, I also took a little time on Sunday to look over my posts for the last few weeks, it didn’t take me long before I became annoyed with some of the posts I’ve written. I wrote plenty of blogging tips, business blogging tips and managed to slide in some social networking and promo stuff. That’s all great, but I really managed to get away from writing about current events and Mixed Martial Arts.
Getting back to the versatility that I like on the blog and some of the topics that get you to get involved in the discussion here, it gets old reading my own crap over and over. Without your comments this place isn’t half as exciting as it is with comments.
I recently wrote about the hit MTV Reality show Jersey Shore on our indoor tanning blog, chances are most of you have never even seen the show. I’m sure you’ve heard of it. There is a connection between the Jersey Shore and indoor tanning, it was a nice bonus post for a blog that focuses solely on indoor tanning tips and articles.

Anyway, before I keep going on that tangent I want to keep this short. I plan on getting back to the current events and I will be doing it with my new series the “Daily Junk”. I will pit two topics from current celebrity gossip, news or whatever else against each other and get your opinion. I want to know which one your more tired of hearing about or which one your care less about, today it’s the Jersey Shore vs Pants on the Ground.
The Pants on the Ground Guy recently enjoyed star treatment on a flight, he performed his American Idol hit “Pants on the Ground“ and waited to exit the plane so the flight crew could meet him (their request).

In other giant news today it seems that Angelina one of the Jersey Shore cast members is not locked in for a second season of Jersey Shore, see “Jersey Shore’s Angelina – Not So Fast!“.

I never heard of either of them until now. I guess I care less about the Jersey Shore thing only because you posted a video about Pants on the Ground. Simon could be right, It could be a hit.

The only thing I know about Jersey Shore is that someone got arrested for bitch slappin’ someone or something I saw on the news, must not have been too exciting.
But pants on the ground had my gut hurtin’ I laughed so hard! And I don’t watch Idol, saw that on the news too….

I heard about that Pants on the Ground guy on TMZ or something and only heard a short clip of the song. I really could care less to hear any more of the song. Didn’t interest me, I guess. The Jersey Shore has caught my attention because I’m from that exact area. My first job was in Seaside Heights
I watched a few of the episodes…. It just seems like MTV’s Real World but the kids are guidos 
well. here in India we dont get chance to watch those shows but still i watch it on Youtube

Jersey shore . I watched the “pants on the ground” on American Idol, at least he bought a smile to my face.
I don’t watch American Idol or Jersey Shore but I did see the Pants On The Ground video a while back and thought it was pretty cool. I guess Jersey Shore gets my couldn’t care least about vote.

I can’t even choose. I would say pants on the ground guy is less annoying. I can’t stand Jersey Shore and I’ve only seen clips on the news. How that show makes it on the news is a mystery. I’m lucky my girlfriend does not watch that show like some of my buddies. Ahahaha they get stuck watching it. I think I would rather watch Martha Stewart give a 4 hour speech on how to be cool than see another clip of JS.
@Anthony @ Jumpness, I like watching because I can laugh at them which actually makes the Pants on the Ground thing much more annoying because it’s not even funny to me.
I have no clue what the attraction to Pants on the Ground is. I finally watched it after the 500th reference came up on FaceBook and elsewhere. But if you really want to see something, watch this:
