I won’t be making this some huige rant or anything too crazy, but while I peacefully jumped on to Twitter this morning to tweet about my morning mayhem my attention was drawn to something that John Sullivan tweeted.
John Sullivan in case your not aware is the blogger or best yet pro blogger (payback one) that writes for his SEO and Weed blog Pot Politics. Now I usually get along with John pretty good, we have a good understanding… he teaches me things, I try to learn them and once in a blue moon I stop by his blog and leave a comment or two.
My visit to Pot Politics this time around was anything but exciting, I clicked on the link titled “Britney Spears-Eminem-One more time-Million Dollar Babys” and walked right into an article that showed just how much weed John has sucked down over the years. It makes me want to puke when I say it but John feels that Eminem should have stayed on the drugs so he could still write better songs, John… John…. John…

Oh and one last thing, comments were closed on John’s post which made it impossible for me to shoot my mouth off about what I just read, I am hurt John… HURT! I will be waiting for my apology and flowers might not be a bad idea while your at it.

I don’t think he needs drugs to be a great rapper but I have to agree his latest cd sucked fucking ass. I was a big fan but he’ simply lost his talent or ran out of juice. I didn’t like any songs from his new CD and still prefer the old Marshall Mathers LP.
Perhaps I’m too old! Perhaps I matured to much to listen to his new junk but I seriously can’t stand it.
But with any music comes taste and preference. I like harder rock music over rap…

@Teasa oh I’m sure there are plenty of people that prefer Eminem on drugs, I will say I think The Eminem Show was far better as a complete album goes, but the lyrics and flow on Relapse are unlike any other.
John just wanted to make me angry, haha.
I was never a fan of Eminem although, i didn’t turn off that movie while watching it … so, I guess I liked the movie ..
And, that’s all I have to say about that

I am not a big fan of his style of music. That said, it does take a lot of talent to arrive at such a measure of fame acheived by Eminem. And it must take a large measure of discipline to be productive on weed. It always made me lazy (or lazier depending on your perspective.)
