Great post – it’s good general advice. If one is going to truly specialize in tanning, or in anything, that specializing can’t be a marketing slogan (i.e. a pharmaceutical company dedicated to R & D truly would no long market drugs more than likely). That doesn’t mean people shouldn’t have professional competence. It does mean that one shouldn’t confuse “laziness” and a “bad customer experience” with specializing.

Small business growth can be achieved through strategic diversification. Why are many businesses not fully leveraging the advantages of diversification? Primarily because the business owners don’t understand the benefits. Increasing profitability and business growth are the two drivers for diversification.
