As some of my daily readers know I am a blogging CEO which basically means I am a business owner that also writes a blog, there are plenty of us out there and plenty of reasons that we choose to be blogging CEO’s. At the close of each month I post a recap of statistics in a few of the various categories that I play close attention to on a daily basis, it is important however to note that for obvious reasons the statistics posted below are limited to percentage based numbers and do not reflect all sales information for Extreme Tan and Smoothies, Inc.

Over 275 new customers came through the doors of Extreme Tan and Smoothies stores in September 2008 generating an increase of 50% in new customers.

In our tanning lotion category we saw an increase of 25% over September 2008.
Sunless Tanning Products +/-
As staggering as this number might sound we increased our Sunless tanning product sales by 450% over September 2008, I would attribute this to our Spray Tan Tour.

Extreme Tan and Smoothies, Inc. had a store vs store September increase of 36% over September 2008.

The Closeout
September was another excellent month for Extreme Tan and Smoothies and I would imagine that the tanning industry as a whole is also seeing some increases across the board as the economy begins it’s slow recovery. We also did some fun things at Extreme in September like our “Real Faces Billboard Campaign” and our Spray Tan Tour has been a complete blast with over 300 spray tanning clients taking advantage of the $5 Spray Tans.
Looking Ahead
We will be continuing the $5 Spray Tan Tour (see dates below) and introducing new tanning lotions for the 2010 tanning season, the first products to hit all six Extreme Tan and Smoothies were Couture Sport for Woman, Reborn Couture 40xxx and the exclusive H.I.M Moisturizer for men.

Between, my Alexa rank climbs up abit too, it’s near to 100k bolderline, it’s 100,083 now! I still need to beat down 84 people to get into 100,000.
