Hi John,
Do you add all plug-in you mention above? Do you have memory problem with a lot of plug-in. I heard that people have problem when adding a lot of Firefox plug-in.

However, In my Firefox browser I only add about 4 plug-in. Seobook, Alexa and PageRank metter and Netvideohunter.

I would have to empathize with your addiction to add-ons and plugins. I have it too. As a developer, IE gives so many of us fits. Firefox has been my browser of choice for a few years as well and I turn anyone I can onto it. Internet Exploder is bloat and crap and nothing else. We need to start a movement or something to bring IE up to standards and become compliant if nothing else.

@George I don’t know about that, I mean I guess there are some that do, but for the most part I only pick add-ons that will help me be more efficient and effective.

@Kim wahooo! Thank you for stopping by the place, I appreciate you coming by and commenting All this talk about Chrome makes me want to check it out, Im just so happy with Firefox.

Colorful Tabs is another good Firefox Add-on, I believe this is now another version like it however the tabs will change color based on their age, helps serve as a reminder that you have had a page open in a tab forever and should probably get to it. haha.

What is your Twitter username? I recently turned off my auto follow back, I would like to follow you back

There are just too many add-ons that its hard to keep up with them. They add more details, but I presume they slow down your browsing a bit. I could be wrong hey!

Love your blog, now see I’m in Chrome right now because I was just checking some web cams (don’t get excited, I just miss the beach!) and I check the TV Guide and do my banking there. But I got sidetracked and went on Twitter and landed here. Chrome is good for quick ins and out. The homepage is like Opera, I like that because of it’s “thumbnail URL” homepage made up of your most visited sites. Now I just added you to twitter, so I can follow up in Firefox which I use BECAUSE of their add-ons. I absolutely love it. Left IE about 6 mos ago. I will have to check out your add-ons as well as the other readers’ also. Needless to say “You Will Be Bookmarked!” One cool add-on I love is the ColorfulTabs, changes color for every tab you have open making them easy to distinguish. Thanks, very informative.

@Brian I will do bro, been a crazy week for me still trying to get caught up and get through everyone’s sites while I am at it. Than hopefully I can give these a shot.

@Christina happy I could offer some Firefox tips about the add-ons that you might be able to find useful BTW Firefox is way better than IE.

@Brian D. Hawkins you would think Norton would be all over being ready for changes like that, they have been around for 300 years at this point.

@Hard Rocking South African I still have yet to try Google Chrome, I am pretty happy with Firefox and im sure it will take some effort to pry me away. haha

I love Firefox, but usually only use it for professional purposes.. I gotta admit that all the add-ons, etc warp my fragile mind in the later hours, so I tend to stick to Google Chrome at home.. nice, simple and easy

I love Firefox too. I’ve been using it for a long time and just today I upgraded to version 3.5.1 and my Norton security toolbar isn’t compatible now. What a pain. As big as Norton is you would think they could try to keep up. Great list of add-ons though, I use several myself.

I was highly against Firefox in the beginning, but I was obviously being an idiot because it is way better than IE. I just found out about the add-ons but haven’t had time to really mess with them yet. Great info as always John. Thanks for sharing.

@Brian thank you, I will be checking those two Firefox add-ons out as well, I haven’t heard of them until now.

As for BE yes I still submit my articles there, I just try to do it when I have time ya know.

@TechZoomIn excellent let me know which one’s you like or dislike, I like the feedback.

@Tycoon Blogger see I didn’t even know that about the Alexa add-on for Firefox, that’s good to know. Zemanta can be useful at times thats for sure, it saves time.

@The Constant Complainer Without a doubt would recommend the switch to Firefox, the add-ons alone will save you a tremendous amount of time. It might take a little getting use to, but in the end I think you will be happy with the efficiency it add’s to your game.
