Back on January 23rd I posted a few pictures of our first Florida Frost since we have lived here and after the Frost was over I took a few more pictures, these pictures are of the Florida Frost Damage . Sounds pretty dramatic but as a whole we have a few dead bushes and the front lawn looks like shit, it just sounds much more exciting to say that we have Florida Frost Damage. I took four different pictures, three of the pictures are Frost Damage Pictures and the other one is a picture of  green grass in our backyard. We didn’t have any Frost in the backyard, most likely because of the fence.

I have no idea what the name of these particular bushes, shrubs or whatever they might be considered is.. but I do know they took a beaten from the frost. Initially when I had taken the Florida Frost Pictures you were not even able to see any frost on these plants due to their light color. As you can clearly see they are not living the good life.

The grass always goes a little doorment in the winter time here, which is usually about five minutes in length. As a matter of fact while I type this it’s 70 degrees and feels like 70 degrees, winter doesn’t hang around here long at all. After the frost the grass was more than in a doorment stage and looks more like it’s in a fuckin heart attack stage where it hasn’t had any water in like 30 years……. It gets watered twice a week for twenty minutes per zone and this particular zone caused me to look at the water system and see if it was set right and in fact this area was getting more water than the 20 minutes twice a week, so trust me it’s not a dried out thing… It’s a Florida Frost thing, the grass here can’t hang.

The end result in the entire thing is that the front long looks like ass and I can’t stand it, I think I have an addiction to my front lawn being as green and manicured as possible thanks to my Brother Kenny. All though he was much worse than I will ever be, he actually had signs warning people to stay off of his grass. I on the other hand like the grass being nice and green and I also like when it gets walked on, or when we do stuff with the kids on it. The dogs have done a pretty good job of beating down the backyard but nothing like what the frost did to the front yard, at this point I just hope it comes back green and somewhat soon before I have a mental breakdown. The rest of the pictures for this are located in the 2009 Pictures section.
