Some of you might remember that late Saturday evening I posted some Florida Storm Pictures from a storm that was rolling into my neighborhood in the Palm Harbor area. I am hardly the weather guru or a video expert, either way I decided to video the storm as it moved into the area. The video is actually a combination of a few short video clips I took each time I went outside, all of the videos start from the same point of view so you can get an idea of the weather and how quickly it changed.

Each video clip was recorded five minutes after the previous video recording ended, storms move in and out of this part of Florida almost on a daily basis. This storm brought very little badly needed rain to the area, I actually have a few Florida Drought pictures to post of my front lawn and it’s current condition from the server lack of rain over the last seven or so months.

Florida Storm Video

This storm was hardly one of the most nasty we have had, and even as the storm progressed I really didn’t have an opportunity to step outside and take more pictures and video footage. Not to mention since Florida is the lightning capital of the world it’s not a wise decision to stand outside with video equipment and video an active storm, I will save that for the storm chasers out there.

Since, we haven’t gotten much rain…I think we’re about to start making it up for it all.
