Last Friday I wrote the first “Friday Free-for-All” post and wasn’t really sure if you would find it to be a decent post series to close out the week with, needless to say I’m still not sure. In any case I wanted to continue to keep it going to see what angles we can put on it each week, I personally think that we all might benefit from each other a little more if everyone here adds a little something to the conversation.

Another super simple one this week (as if the title didn’t give it away already).

What social media tool did you try this week for the very first time?

Leave a comment and share a link to the tool and tell us something about it, most importantly if you like the tool or not.

Parting Shots

I think it’s important to try anything and everything that you can at least once, especially when it comes to social media marketing and management tools. One of the tools that I tried this week was “Monitter” a Twitter tool that allows you to track keywords or phrases within specific zip code ranges, it updates with live tweets of individuals discussing topics in that area.

Here is an example of one of my key words, “tanning” being monitored with Monitter, you can track up to 3 key words or phrases at a time.

Monitor Keywords on Twitter

As you can see it picks up on anything and everything that anyone says with the specific keyword or phrase, even Leshaun. haha

Monitter is cool, I am also trying to get into the habit of using google trends especially since my keywords are so competive

Happy friday
