Ahhh there is nothing like the Holidays and there is nothing like heading to Orlando for the Holidays and checking out all of the Christmas Shows like the Ozbourne Family Spectacle of Lights at Hollywood Studios or Mickey’s Merry Merry Christmas Parade at the Magic Kingdom. One of my favorite things to do when we come to Orlando this time of year is go to ICE at Gaylord Palms Resorts in Orlando, Nate told me about this place back in 2006 and we came here for it that year. We had a kick ass time back in 2006 when we came, the ICE Show at Gaylord Palms Convention Center is really unreal, simply put you have to see it even if you don’t stay at the Gaylord Palms come and go to the ICE Spectacular it’s unreal.
We headed out to Orlando today to check in to the Gaylord Palms Resort and Spa, the drive went nice and smooth and checking in at this hotel is always a pleasure. They offer a special package here where you can purchase your ICE tickets, hotel and have the kids build a Gingerbread House and meet with Santa, we always get it it’s worth it in the end. When you get the package and stay at the hotel it gives you unlimited VIP Access to the ICE show for your entire stay which is different than in 2006 or in 2006 no one told me about it and I didn’t care enough to ask.
The kids are already completley in love with the place just like they were when we came here the last time, this is my sons first time here and he also loves the place. The Gaylord Palms hides a bunch of Gnomes all over the Atrium and offers a prize if you find all the Gnomes and register on line, the kids love looking for these things and I actually do too. Tomorrow morning we will get up and get everyone some kind of food and than plan on hitting the ICE show, I will post some pictures of that if my camera works in there and regardless I will post a review.

I don’t see why not, they have convention halls, kitchens and everything else. Im sure they do them all the time.
Yes you could have a sweet 16 at the Gaylord Palms, but it would be very pricey. I believe with their numerous rooms you could have your choice in pricing a little bit.

Very true, never really considered the sweet 16 angle too much to be honest. I know I just love the place.
