German Air Show Plane Crash Video

by Extreme John on July 14, 2009 |

I was going through some recent news articles when I came across this video of a German Air Show Plane Crash from today, the double decker aircraft in the video gets a little too low while doing it’s tricks and hits cars on the highway.

One of the cars that was hit by the airplane in today’s German Airshow crash was carrying a family of three, surprisingly no one that was involved in today’s airplane crash were killed or seriously injured.

Some of you might remember the German airshow crash that killed 70 people and injured another 346 spectators, this air show crash is known as the Ramstein Airshow Disaster.

Today’s incident was much different than the incident that played out on Sunday when a Navy F-18 Fighter Jet came too close to an apartment building, or the Southwest flight was forced to make an Emergency landing after it lost cabin pressure earlier today. The Southwest flight lost cabin pressure due to a piece of ripped metal by the tail of the plane, no one was injured in the incident.

It’s pretty crazy with todays technology some of the videos and eye witness accounts that we are priveladged to see, well sometimes.

Extremely fortunate no one go seriously injured in the car it hit. It just goes to show you should always have your video camera handy, as you might capture something crazy like that. I have a Flip Camera in the glove-box of my car just in case I ever need it.

@Nate Hell yeah send away brother I love that stuff.

@Doug Dillard I never use to carry a camera around with me, now I constantly have one with me along with a video camera. You never know when something will happen.

I’m glad this post wasn’t out before the weekend as I spent Saturday with my two boys under the flight path at an air show. The planes aren’t allowed to fly over the ‘official’ crowd but we were watching from the (much) cheaper seats in a neighbouring field. The jets did most of their approaches right over our heads – so close we waved to an F-16 pilot who we could clearly see in the cockpit. I know crashes are rare, but had I read your post I may have moved us from the flight path!
