Guest Post: Cold Blooded Killer – Help

As many of you may have seen on other blogs around the interwebs the latest craze seems to be “Guest Posts”. In short a guest post is a post created by a reader of the blog or someone that was asked to write a guest article for someone’s specific blog. As my daily readers may be aware I have never had a guest post here on Extreme John before, I have however helped friends that might be trying to sell something, by posting their information and product on here.

Today will serve as the very first Guest post ever posted here on ym site, and as you will see it is a very different guest post than most people are use to. I back causes that I believe in and I help out, or at least try whenever I am given the opportunity to do so. I felt that this was one of those cases where somehow, some way just maybe my blog can be of greater use and help a very very close personal friend and perhaps a family that needs answers. I ask that anyone that reads this please share it (the links to share are below), retweet it (upper right hand corner of this post) or call a friend, if you can help in anyway, please do so I would greatly appreciate it. This has nothing to do with asking anyone for money, just some help spreading the word about a horrific crime and hopefully bringing someone to justice.

As a general rule, I don’t like to take advantage of my friend’s and their resources BUT I find no way to give that rule justification in a case like this. As a native to Largo, FL and an alumni of Largo High School, I am part of a small community and a small world of friends that all keep in touch in one way or another.

Last week, I heard the news that a good friend of mine from high school and his family have been thrown head first into a real life nightmare. My friends younger sister, Sheri Weiss Coleman and her 2 sons, Garrett age 11 and Gavin, age 9, were murdered in cold blood while asleep in their home in Columbia, IL and later found by Chris Coleman, husband and father.

All kinds of reports have come out on the investigation thus far and the police assure the family and community that every step is being taken to arrest those responsible for this heinous crime. However, things are a bit shady and have come a bit close to home for us Largonians (Largo, Florida). We can all come to our own conclusions on what may have happened, honestly how many times in recent years have we seen stories like this where the outcome is almost always the same? But I try not to jump the gun and make assumptions. I am confident that the truth will come out and that justice will be served.

The police already, as seen in recent reports, seem to be fairly confident themselves that this wasn’t a random crime but was an intentional act of murder. They even stated in a report yesterday that they have a suspect but are waiting on more forensic evidence before they announce the name. Hmmmmmmm?  Most recently, there also have been reports that there was “another woman” from Largo that the police are taking an interest in, no name has been announced as of yet but to be clear, I am not implicating her in anyway just I guess as a “person of interest”.

I asked my great friend Extreme John to allow me to do this in order to get the word out to my friends in Largo, to all of Sheri’s friends and just about anyone that could help! Someone knows something. Either you know this “other woman” or you just have a small bit of info that could lead to something more. Even if you aren’t sure, call anyways. Every little bit helps!

Call the detectives at #618-281-5151 PLEASE!!! This family is in so much pain and they only want the answer to one question…..WHO DID IT??? Put yourselves in their shoes for just one minute if you can…….

Thanks again to everyone that has taken the time to read this, and a very special thanks to anyone who shared the article or retweeted it. The world can be a very small place sometimes, I hope that someone from Largo or surrounding areas of Florida or someone in IL will see this and can offer some help. Thank you MM for taking the time to write this, I hardly consider it taking advantage and am thankful for any help I may be able to offer. I offer the family of your friend my condolences.

Blink on Crime: Husband and Father Chris Coleman has been arrested and charged with 1st Degree Murder.

“Columbia, Ill– As announced exclusively this afternoon on blinkoncrime.com, sources inside the Major Case Squad confirmed that Chris Coleman, husband and father of murder victims Sheri, Garrett and Gavin Coleman, has been arrested and charged with the murders of his family.”
