On May 29, 2010 Extreme Tan and Smoothies will be holding a very different balloon event than any balloon event we have held in the past at any of our six indoor tanning salon locations in the #Tampa Bay area. We will be holding the “Gulf Cleanup Balloon Event” to benefit the Gulf Coast Seabird Sanctuary, a local non-profit organization that is already been called into action due to the Gulf Oil spill and is currently on location trying to preserve the wildlife that has been effected by this disaster.

In addition to holding the Gulf Cleanup Balloon Event we will be setting up collection boxes for the many items that the Gulf Coast Seabird Sanctuary needs in order to cleanup and rescue the sea life and hopefully release them back into the wild. This is no small task and we are going to need everyone’s support on Saturday May 29, 2010 when the Gulf Cleanup Balloon Event takes place, the hashtag on Twitter for this benefit is #4thegulf, we would greatly appreciate if you include the hashtag with any retweets you might do in support for this cause.

John you are a good man. I’m a little bit to far out of town to pop over for the event but if I was nearby I would :)

I wish you best of luck, it’s going to be great.

I’m very upset about the disaster :(

A huge mess there this oil spill off the coast. I’ll definitely include the hashtag in one of my retweets on May 29 to support this cause.

I read your post and apologize for not commenting on it sooner. Great cause. I can’t believe that they still can’t stop the oil flow. That’s a shame. How was your event?

@The Constant Complainer, yeah it’s honestly starting to get pretty old man, beyond sad and we look ridiculous as a country because we can’t figure out how to put a stop to it. It’s incredible to me that we can go to the moon but can’t stop a leak on this planet…. that we started.
