Last week it was my Birthday which made this week Lisa’s Birthday, we share July pretty closely. My daughter and I had a couple of things we needed to pick up that morning for Mommies Birthday, mainly because I as having a panic attack about hat we had gotten her so far for her Birthday, which would sound insane to some but hey I have my issues.
A week earlier on my Birthday I stopped by the Mercedes Benz Dealer to talk to Jason of Lokey Mercedes he took the place of Johnathan my initial sales rep from way back. Lisa has been due for a new car mainly because Brendon is getting too big to hussle back and forth in the back seat.
Now your probably thinking, “Ok, the asshole is buying her a car and he is worried about the gifts to the point he needs to run to the store on the morning of Lisa’s birthday!” The answer would be yes the asshole needed to do that, keep in mind other than the SUV I ordered for Lisa’s Birthday which I planned on surprising her with on her Birthday, I really didn’t have anything besides a couple of SIMS games for Lisa to open that day and didn’t want her to start to wonder. I had picked up the truck and parked it in my neighbors garage overnight, I also ordered the bow you see in the picture and had that slapped on the hood of the car.
To make a long story short, I moved the Mercedes GL550 AMG into the driveway while Lisa and Michele let the puppies out, the weather was starting to look like shit and I didnt want the truck getting wet or the bow getting screwed up. I decided to ask Lisa if she wanted to walk out front and see this new tree I had the landscaper plant while he was there earlier in the day, Lisa was game so we headed outside (everyone walked outside to see the tree). I pointed towards the clouds to say, “Oh it looks like a storm is moving in!”, Lisa looked in the direction I pointed which is right where the truck was with the bow on the hood of it, Lisa did a double take and than it hit her about the car.

I should have taken some interior pictures and I will see this is one of MY favorite vehicles I have ever driven, the interior couldn’t be anymore sweat and the ride is perfect with a ton of horses under the hood for the pick up I like….. Oh wait this isn’t my Birthday gift, Enjoy Lisa and I hope you had an amazing Birthday.
