How to Apply for Access to HootSuite Google+ Pages

by Extreme John on November 15, 2011

News is starting to funnel through the social interwebs that HootSuite, a social media manager for business users can now post and monitor Google+ brand pages. I have mixed emotions about HootSuite connecting with Google+ as a manager for the growing social networking site by Google.

Somewhere in the back of my crazy mind I think that might have that shot somewhere in the future. Huh?!?? OK, for those of you that don’t know, is a social media manager for small business owners that I’ve had in development for a few months now. I know, hardly at the HootSuite and Google+ level, but it’s always nice to dream.

Use HootSuite to Manage Google+ Pages

I’m sure there’s a few of you that read my blog on a daily basis that would like to apply for access to use HootSuite to manage Google+.

Third Party Management Tools for Google+ Pages

HootSuite isn’t going to be the only game in town. Google has a page that lists numerous third party management tools for Google+ pages.

OK, back to the races…

I signed up, though I was under the impression you had to be a Hoot Suite Enterprise user (I’m a Pro user). Either way, the feature should be rolled out to all users relatively soon which is awesome news!

Probably this is what I need, I have been looking for something to manage my Google+ page with no success, so I will give a try to HootSuite, hope that they have some rss feature as well

I have been using HootSuite to manage Twitter and Facebook Pages, and it works great. I’m not sure about G+, but I’m sure HootSuite knows what they’re doing. I’m definitively going to test it.

Sounds great, good luck and thanks for commenting. It looks like it’s still only Enterprise customers, all though I did receive an email from someone on the HootSuite team today in regards to having a phone meeting next week. I’ll hopefully follow up with that here.
