Ordering an extra or replacement Square card reader is simple and takes all of about two minutes. Here’s the 4 steps that you will need to follow to receive an additional Square mobile credit card reader in the mail. If you prefer to purchase an additional reader you can look for a retail location near you with the Square store finder.
Login to your Square account.
Click “Get a Card Reader“.
Click “Ship Reader”.
I would suggest ordering an additional Square card reader as soon as you set up your Square account. Having an extra Square card reader around will come in handy in the event your original card reader accidentally breaks. It’s also a great way to be prepared for a “last minute” mobile processing expansion.
