Not that they will give a rats ass and not than anything will ever come of it but incase there’s a few of you who are not familiar with InBev I will clear it up for ya. They are the douchebag Belgium Company that purchased Anheiser Busch a tad bit back, or better yet the Company that will be fucking up Anheuser Busch moving forward. I think the biggest part of the entire purchase that pisses me off is the very fact that I kne there was no way that this sale was going to make Anheuser Busch any better of a product, in fact I thought for sure it would fuck it up.
Now with InBev behind the wheel it didn’t take long for changes, cuts and well the destruction of one of the true long time American owned Companies. Sure InBev says the Clydesdales stay and wow thank god for that, Im sure they will really eazzzz us into accepting the loss of the Clydesdales when they choose to remove them as well. Right now let’s focus one one thing that we know InBev already changed, just before Christmas they cut 1,400 Brewery Jobs… Merry Christmas. Now it’s on to the next thing, I mean hell you have to cover the cost of your acquisition as fast as possible right? Sweet, crank up the Theme Park Admission Price oh yeah and the Parking price as well. Now with those changes under way let’s keep in mind that InBev hasn’t ruled out selling all of the Theme Parks in order to make back some of the expense of the purchase. Sounds pretty sweet, crank up the prices and reduce overall park volume so that we can hopefully sell it to some other shit head who doesn’t give a shit.
Ok here we are everything has to be free and clear now, we know the prices have gone up, we know they cut the jobs and we know that they are keeping the Clydesdales… for now. Well don’t get to excited because there’s still something else besides beer that InBev wants us to swallow and thats the fact that on the same day the new INCREASED admission prices kicked in to gear along with the increased parking prices, Inbev announced that on January 25, 2009 at all 9 theme parks, they will stop serving free beer at the Hospitality centers found in each of the theme parks. Yup taps are gettin the cut, thanks InBev.
It’s not even that big of a surprise really, again it just sucks more so that InBev is doing exactly what I thought they would do and I can assure you Im not the only one who thought it. Piece by little piece InBev will shit on a 50 year brand and destroy the so many things that Beer drinkers loved about being an Anheuser Busch beer drinker. There was always something special about the two little fresh cups of beer that were no bigger than mouthwash cups and getting them whenever you went to Sea World in Orlando or Busch Gardens in Tampa. As much as InBev wants every moron to believe it’s because they want to promote a “Family Atmosphere”, they are full of shit and anyone with a half a brain knows it’s about cutting costs and saving loot. It’s too bad that InBev couldn’t see the true value of the Iconic beer company that was Anheuser Busch and grow on the brand, nope instead pecking away at the small vital parts that made it the special Brand that made it so attractive to begin with seems like a much better idea. I will continue to drink Bud Light until the entire thought of InBev makes me ill and Im forced to move on to something else, which will become an entirely new rant Im sure.

I’m not a Bud drinker, but I can still agree that InBev sucks! The hospitality tent is the only way Seaworld got central Floridians out to their park in the middle of the effing summer!

There is nothing worse than when an acquisition occurs and everyone knows it’s going to damage the brand and in some cases the product.
