Insulted

I had some running around to do today in order to get ready for the new Extreme Tan and Smoothies Pinellas Park location that is Grand Opening THIS SATURDAY. I will get to that in another post this week, let’s move on to the giant lady who go insulted. As I was cruising around doing some errands I was using my Cadillac Escalade (not the limo) instead of my car because I needed the space. I like driving the Escalade every once and a while because I get to listen to Howard Stern when Im in there and I usually don’t listen to anything besides my iPod on normally.

I always enjoy the part of the Howard Stern show where Robin goes through all of the little crimes and complaints and other strange shit that comes through on the wire. She went on about this woman who ended up having a form of Cancer on her spine and the woman needed to have some type of scan done but she was too big to fit into the machine that they needed to use to scan her spine. Remember people Im no doctor by any means, and honestly probably have the details a little effed up too, doesn’t matter I will make it sound good. Back to the big girl. As time went by and they tried to come up with answers and ways to get a good scan of this woman the fact was, she just wouldn’t fit into any of the machines in the area. With just about all efforts bouncing away and hope fading a Doctor recommended that she go to the local Zoo to have her scan done.

Ok up until this point we have a severe life threatening problem that meets a creative mind intelligent enough to come up with a quick solution to a very shitty situation. Trust me it’s a shitty situation, I lost both of my parents to cancer. Now this is the part where I get confused, or better yet I want to headbutt… yeah I said headbutt someone in the fucking face…. The Big girl gets “Insulted”, her Husband is “Insulted” and now there’s talk of a possible law suit….. I know, your waiting for the big “It’s a joke” and I was waiting too, sadly no joke to report. Instead we have someone who had a Twinky or 200 too many (who hasnt) and doesn’t fit into a piece of medical equipment and has Cancer, but she’s insulted that someone would recommend such a thing.

Has anyone lost site of the fact that the real situation here if anything is the fact that she has cancer.. Thats problem #1. Let’s move on to problem #2 which would be the fact that SHE is the one who got HERSELF to be TOO BIG to fit on the machine needed to test HER for HER CANCER than we can move on to Problem #3 which is the fact that the stupid asshole could possibly be mad at someone that could very well have come up with the idea that could save her from death or whatever else! She is insulted by the fact that someone things she is as big as an elephant… Not once did anyone say anything about her being as big as an elephant, stupid ass theirs Monkeys at the Zoo too. There’s all kinds of Animals, she’s the one that made the comparisson between herself and an Elephant, not the Doctor.
