Over the past week more and more people have been asking me about a follow-up post to my 11 Pictures of Damage from Idiots in Limos post. Those of you that don’t currently subscribe to my rss feed or that might be making yor first visit here might not know I am one of those blogging ceos, I own and operate a limousine business and indoor tanning business.
A couple of weeks ago I posted the pictures of the damage that took place in our Barbie pink H2 hummer limo during a Friday night bachelorette party. I don’t feel like getting in to the entire story, so if you want to know the gritty details your going to have to read the original post. This is the follow up 
Let me start out by saying that I have a new found or at least some level of respect for the offending party in this situation because they have taken care of the damages they created. It would be nice if every day in business people were straight forward with each other and just worked through things, probably wouldn’t be too bad if every situation went like that. It’s not happening so no sense going on about it, again… new found respect for taking care of the issue.
The floor needed to come up, carpet and padding were shampooed four times and treated with something to remove the beer odor. In addition to the floor coming up the alcohol tour through the color wash film, thanks to Phil from LA Custom Coach we were able to find 17′ of the film, that was great news because the other option was a 5 week wait time and cost of $500 for a roll of the film.

Luckily the damage caused to the limo did not result in any lost limousine rides, thanks to the good people at Car Tunes in Largo Florida most of the repairs were done within 24 billed hours. There was a slight issue with the seat, but the Seat Magician out of Tampa Florida managed to help us save the customer some cash, he was able to work his magic and get the repair to stick. I also have to give a big thanks to my boy Phil from LA Custom Coach for always having the right answer, I’m so happy I didn’t go with that other shit head coach builder “Big Limos”… more like “Big Asshole”.
The seats ripped out to make room for the new floor.
Approx $4,000 and five days later the Insane Limos Barbie Pink H2 hit the streets of Florida.

I said I thought it would be about 3K plus,
amazing how fast repairs add up.

That new floor looks really cool. The H2 itself is still way too pink for me :D But the new floor looks better than the old, me thinks.

$4k huh. Dang. That could buy a pretty nice bounce house that would rent for probably $300-$350 a day. I have yet to have a problem with damage to any of my equipment so I’m going to keep my fingers crossed. Worst case I saw was a group of drunk adults who kicked the children out of the bounce house so they could have fun. The bounce house roof was touching the ground. I wasn’t very happy about that. I’m getting a taser this year.
I hope they paid every penny of it, and lost revenue while Pink was out of service.
You have a name for that pink one? Can’t recall. If you do, it’s not sticky so that I can remember it.

@Extreme John, if “Barbie Pink H2″ is the name, well, that’s not very sticky and you need a better name.
Lemme roll it around a bit. I’m pretty good with this stuff. I’ll throw it to my mastermind group on Sunday as well. Bad Deacon and “5am” are hanging out, I’m sure we’ll come up with something stickier for you.

It’s a shame when you loose all self control and don’t have any respect for other peoples things. There comes a time in your life when you need to grow up and be an adult. I hope their bill was a shocking reminder of this.

I saw a H2 limo like this that had a black interior but this is more my style and never would have imagined that someone actually could make this kind of car for the ladies. great work!
