It’s the first Saturday in June and I can’t imagine that anyone will really be skipping their big beach plans and outdoors type stuff to come through here and read about my Linkedin profile, and how to connect with me on LinkedIn. Now you see, I intend to use slow blogging Saturday as the perfect reason to skimp out with a simple post that I can wrap up in just a few minutes so I can get down to enjoying my Saturday just like all of you that aren’t reading this right now.

@Kevin S @vector graphics, hey Kevin. You’re new avatar is awesome. One easy way to get more use out of LinedIn if you’re not a daily user is to set a monthly reminder that way you don’t miss out on any upgrades, changes, security setting updates, etc.

@Karen @ Blazing Minds, thank you Karen
I check mine a little more often because I have a few of the business forums I like to follow. You know, in the event some crazy investor comes along and wants to expand Extreme to 1000 salons real quick
Want them to know I’m the guy. haha
Dear John,
You’d be surprised how interesting some folks find your blog, John.
I’m not much of a beach bunny, so if I have a choice between reading what you have to say and burning my feet on silica, I’ll choose silicon chips every time.
Hopefully you are not using Akismet.
If you are, no matter how enthusiastic I am, your system will trash me.
Although I’ve never spammed anyone, I have been banned from WordPress participation for over a year, with no end in sight.
Akismet Support doesn’t even answer my pleas.

Uh oh, John, I think AKismet just trashed my comment.
As you may not know, they are being investigated by the ACLU for abusing people like us, John.
I have been banned for over a year without recourse.
Anyway, my comment is in your spam folder.
If you rescue it, you can come on over for a backlink. We’d love to see you.
In the meantime, here’s an article about Akismet. It’s worth reading if you are not aware of what Akismet is doing to those who sincerely want to be your blogging family, John.

Thanks for letting me know about this – when I’m more active on LinkedIn, I’ll add you.
It’s definitely a good thing when people want to network, and I’m happy for this post.

John,
First off, how the hell is it going? Not sure if you even remember me, but just wanted to say a quick hi. I’m back in the blogging world again..haven’t blogged for almost half a year or so no. Hope all is well.
Anyways, LinkedIn looks pretty neat, and I’ve considered joining a few times. Only thing is, it doesn’t seem like something that would really help someone at my age. Then again, I could be wrong, haha. Looks like a good network for making business connections and such.
