Michael Phelps Bong Picture Exposed

On my way into the office this morning I heard that news broke of 8 time Gold Medalist Michael Phelps along with a Picture of Micheal Phelps taking a hit from a Bong. It’s all the rage and society is in a huge uproar, all though even moron celebrity Ashton Kutcher came to Micheal Phelps’ defense and even went as far as to attack the person that posted the picture in the first place. Im no huge Ashton Kutcher fan but I am a huge Micheal Phelps fan and seeing how quickly a celebrity like Ashton came to Micheal’s defense made me pretty happy. Im sure Michael’s Mom who is a principal at a school in her area is just thrilled about the news breaking and a Picture of Michael Phelps taking a Bong hit, Im sure she took the week off.

Let’s take a look at a few things here, sure Michael Phelps is a mega celebrity, sure he has won a stack of crisp Gold Medals and broken pretty much every single swimming record imaginable. Does that mean Michael Phelps should get a break from everyone for smoking pot? Not really. Perhaps the simple fact that Michael Phelps is much like everyone else except for the fact that his gift and his talent happens to be that he swims like a damn shark in the pool and can make even the greatest swimmers look silly. Hell there are Iron workers and Plumbers and Cooks and all kinds of people that have a special talent that they display every single day, sure they don’t get the media spotlight that Michael Phelps gets nor will they ever be featured on a cereal box or Letterman for their actions, but they still have special talents. Point being is that Michael Phelps puts his pants on just like everyone else, and just because he’s a mega star hardly means that he should be media wasted because he took a hit from a bong…. or twenty.. The guy has great lungs Im sure he needs the finest Dro and a tremendous amount of smoke to get high in the first place.

My thought is everyone needs to back of Michael Phelps, big deal he took a hit… So did the shithead George Bush and we let that effin moron run the entire country for 8 years. Michael Phelps is a kid living the dream and just because his Mommy and everyone else thinks he should be the world’s greatest role model the fact remains that he is young, under constant pressure and is going to make mistakes. Biggest difference about Michael Phelps smoking pot mistakes or his DUI mistakes is that they are in the public eye, thats it. The fact that some back stabbing douchebag that he trusted dished out the picture of Michael Phelps in the first place is where this story goes wrong, if anything someone should be calling Michael Phelps and seeing if he is ok after being back stabbed, instead of making a big deal out of the fact that he’s not perfect. OMG I said it, “Micheal Phelps is not perfect.” Would anyone really give two shits about Michael Phelps if he still lived in some little town in the middle of no where and he had never won a gold medal and he smoked weed for the last 15 years of his life?? Probably not.

So to you Michael Phelps (as if he reads this crap), congrats on being human and making a mistake or two… You trained your ass off for years to compete for this Country in the Olympics and no one had any problem loving you while you did your thing in the water… Eff the back stabber (we all know them and know them well), all I ask is that you continue to train hard between taking puffs from the bong and you head into the Olympics in 2012 and destroy the competition again, make all the haters and media morons look like assholes yet again.
