My Final NFL Playoff Picks

No historical data, no deep seeking or searching for countless stats.. Just raw guts! Ok not so much the truth I mean how can I place a wager or two without some homework and facts to go along with my picks. Picking games during the Playoffs and placing wagers on NFL playoff games can be rough. I use to constantly post my weekly picks on The Tan Forum on a weekly basis but I have a larger viewership here and I don’t have as much time to run from site to site that I would like to have.

Philadelphia Eagles (-3 1/2) vs Arizona Cardinals (+3 1/2)
I will start with the game that I honestly could care less about which is the Phillidelphia Eagles vs The Arizona Cardinals. Don’t get me wrong I care about the game, I just expect a specific outcome and I don’t see any reason for thinking any differently than I do. Philly wins the game, period. Now with that said we have to get down to the points because for someone betting or gambling on a NFL Football game the points are the most important thing, trust me picking this shit with points during the playoffs is a tough gamble. Arizona will be getting 3 1/2 points from the Eagles when this game kicks off which means if your picking Arizona your ok as long as they don’t lose by more than a field goal and if your picking the Eagles than your going to need either two field goals, a field goal and a safety or of course a full touchdown to win your bet. Not sure exactly what my deal is with Arizona but I have pretty much never won a bet when I pick the Cardinals so Im hoping they get smashed, all though Im not a Philly fan either. Im willing to give up the 3 1/2 points today, I think McNabb makes a trip to the Superbowl in Tampa Florida which is great news for keeping the viewership up. Eagles cover and win.

It happend to the Bears, AZ is next

Baltimore Ravens (+6) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (-6)
This game is a bitch to pick when going with the points and when you quickly look at it, but if you look just a tad bit deeper you will see exactly why I will pick the Baltimore Ravens getting +6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers today. Let’s face the facts the Steelers do not typically score a lot of points on a great day, they are kings of some of the most boring grid iron games ever played. The Steelers also have not beat the Baltimore Ravens by more than ix points since November of 2007, the three games since that point have all been won by less than 6 points. Baltimore is playing solid defense and hitting extremely hard which causes plenty of turnovers, the field today will be a train wreck and if you love watching Snowy football games than this game shouldn’t be a let down. Baltimore will cause some key turnovers in this game keeping it close and maybe even winning out right. Baltimore covers the spread getting +6.

Looking at the matchups and what might be good for Football or the Superbowl as a whole I think we need to see Philly vs Pitt and here’s why. The Superbowl is a huge event and living here in Tampa the preperation has been going on for a year, shit we built a business based on servicing the Superbowl this year in Tampa with Insane Limos providing Superbowl Transportation. Don’t get me wrong here, Arizona has plenty of fans that have jumped on board since the new stadium and signing some decent players over the past few years only issue is that Pitt fans and Philly fans are long, tried and true and will travel to the ends of the earth to support their teams. When we went to the Eagles vs Patriots Superbowl in Jacksonville there were just as many if not more Philly fans there than Patriots fans and well we already know about the crazy ass towel swingers from Pittsburgh. Baltimore wouldn’t be the worst thing possible to happen to the Superbowl either, they bring excitment hard hitting face paced action and they have the “Rookie” Quarterback who is playing how Brett should have played for the Jets. Overall though I believe a Superbowl with Arizona vs Baltimore carries a little more excitment than the Devil Rays vs Philly in the World Series, no thanks. The Superbowl can be a great place for the economy to begin getting back on track, we all need to laugh more and we all need to “Get our Moneys worth” which means we need a kick ass packed house Superbowl and hopefully today my picks come through and thats exactly what we will get.

I will be heading off to make some Waffles, watch every Pre-Game I can than I will grab some beer and chilli and enjoy the day watching football with the Family.
