Well, I wouldn’t say I hate your play list because that would be a lie. I’m not huge into Hip Hop but don’t mind it all the same.

I like a lot of different genres of music and listen to rock and some pop as well.

You could also say I listen to a lot of girly music… Probably should be careful admitting that on here but it’s me so like me or not, I am who I am lol.

One song I’ve liked for a long time is Phenomenon by TobyMac and after watching the movie: I-see-you.com, well, I then liked listening to I-see-you by G Tom Mac I believe his name is.

@Eric, LMAO. You could also say I listen to a lot of girly music too though I’m definitely a lot obsessed about them you are.

My taste revolves strongly around MC, Xtina, Beyonce, Madonna, Lady Gaga and Britney. Outside of these few, i do enjoy any type of music, that’s easy on the ears with an amazing vocal and musical production. I’m not into hip-hop and r n b ala R.kelly, usher etc. There’s something so similar about them all vocal and production wise. Somewhat of boring to me.

@Karen @ Blazing Minds, I just had to check out your music, Karen. Now I can say I have Remergence on my iPod – Sun Diviners. Reminds me a bit of Sarah Brightman, except with techno in the background. :) Thanks so much for sharing.

I’m sure I’d recognize some of these songs if I heard them, but this is just like one of those times when I realize how much I’ve stopped listening to hip hop, compared to what I listened to pre-2000.

Okay, I put mine on songs and hit random. These are my first 5:

1. Blossom Garden – Peter Davidson, Music for Yoga
2. Open Up Your Eyes – Tonic, Lemon Parade
3. Pogo Stick – System of a Down [no album listed]
4. Doc Ock Suite – Danny Elfman, Spiderman 2 Soundtrack
5. Remember When – Alan Jackson, Greatest Hits Volume I

I was hoping Trashy Women by Confederate Railroad would make the list. That song is just funny. :-? I mainly listen to Alternative Rock, but with over 4000 songs I am ready for just about anything. Oh, and I have some Hip Hop, [68 songs] too.

@Anne, My iPod has 4852, the majority of tracks are from my CD collection, but it is growing with downloads from unsigned artists at the moment and believe me they are far better than a lot of the big named artists

Thats a lot of Lil Wayne, Are you Lil Waynes Bitch
or his Business Manager?
Sorry, I just couldn’t resist.
Glad to see you thru in some EM and Snoop to mix it up a “lil”
I am to stuck in the 80′s, I like the old school rap and rock.
I am so far behind times, I don’t own an Ipod or MP3.
What’s up with Coffee boy and the 1997 comment?
I second your comment of anything but country, I Hate It too.

John,

I love seeing the playlists of others. Just as the daily music is inspiring, so is seeing the list of other’s music…especially when their music is in line with your tastes.

Update us when the playlist changes :)

Thanks man,

Hi John, I’m fond of music too but not so much on music like that of hiphop. Though I’m don’t appreciate your playlist but I’m impress of your fondness in music.
Let me share you this quote about music by Charlie Parker:
“Music is your own experience, your thoughts, your wisdom. If you don’t live it, it won’t come out of your horn.”
Hope this make sense. Cheers.
