My Nerves Are Shot

It’s been a crazy ass week with Lisa getting some dental work done the day before her Birthday, all four puppies going in for some surgery and Lisa’s Birthday surprise yesterday. If it wasn’t for some huge help from Aunt Michele and my Niece the last few days would have been a train wreck, with everything above going on this week today is the day my Cousin Teresa, her Husband Bill and My Nephew Ethan came into town from North Carolina. I haven’t seen any of them for almost 5 years, with all of the above stuff going on I was already stressed, but seeing my family I hadn’t seen in forever was the topper on the cake.

When I really sit and think bout it anyone would be nervous seeing not only Family members but great friends and people we use to see constantly when we lived in New York. Besides my Brother, My Cousin Richie and hi Wife Theresa, none of my side of the family has seen the house yet and we have lived here for two and a half years.

Everyone arrived around three o’clock and the stress and nervousness instantly went away. Ethan is so cute it’s unreal and I can’t believe how big he has gotten, it really made me feel like we have missed a lot of years.  We did the house tour thing which went nice and smooth, than we headed out back to play some catch up on the last five years. Alexa was instantly hooked and Ethan and her did their own thing and bonded, it was great.

While we were all sitting out back chattin it up my Brother Kenny had texted to say he would be heading over for the weekend, he lives a little oer an hour from here but I never get to see him so that was great news. We already decided that we would be heading out for some drinks tomorrow night, so check back for some pictures.
